Yessss! Excellent news Right way to handle this imo, they should try to get each season out by Christmas. Even if the later ones don't hit that target, it won't be too bad

I'm actually amped for this, Idk what this thread is on

Annual Christmas release would be ideal.

I just can’t get over the cast of this series compared to the movies.

The movies basically had the UK’s top elite actors of the second half of the 20th century on deck, instantly recognizable talent, probably the most stacked cast of any movie series I can think of.

This just could never compete with that, it’s not even fair.

Can’t count the number of absolute peak art HBO has dropped over the last two decades without any A listers on the cast list before the show premiered.

Sure, but none of them were remakes of one of the most prominent series of the 21st Century.

Harry Potter was basically the millennial’s Beatlemania.

I think I cracked the code on how Horcruxes are made…

You exchange a part of your physical being with an object, and an external life force preserves some of the lost piece of your being that you exchanged - thus killing someone is required to successfully make a Horcrux, hence the banning of its teachings. By this logic, failure to successfully make a Horcrux, eg if the killing curse used to extract the external life force is bounced onto the Horcrux-maker, then whatever part of their physical being currently being exchanged will completely evaporate. Though even when one successfully makes this Horcrux exchange, that part of their physical being is, again, mostly traded away into the Horcrux object. It’s an exchange after all

This is also why the Horcruxes let out agonizing screams when destroyed; it’s not just a metaphor for the lost piece of Voldemort’s soul being extinguished. And let’s get to Voldemort…

Upon his arrival at Godric’s Hollow to make his (planned at the time) final Horcrux with the death of the baby prophesied to kill him, he had already successfully exchanged several parts of his physical being with Horcrux objects: his voice, his hair, his eyes, his nose and his skin/frame. His physical deterioration is gradual as seen in book flashbacks due to this very reason. When he went to kill baby Harry, he was already transformed into the Voldemort we know, and given this was the big one…he was planning to exchange his entire physical being. It was go big or go home with the final Horcrux, not just a single part of his physical being this time

It also springs a fun thought: how would Voldemort’s appearance have changed if he successfully made a Horcrux as planned in Godric’s Hollow?

Wow damn I’ve always wondered about this, very fun theory!

Only key point here is that I’m pretty sure the scream you mentioned when horcruxes are destroyed is not book canon (it was added it for dramatic effect in the movies)
