JK rowling doesn't think anyone who buys her book or any harry potter game supports all of her beliefs. Nor is she paid per copy that drops likely. Warner Brothers owns the property I am pretty sure when they drop a game they don't really have to get her blessing or send her a check per game they drop.

Just to that first point, JK actually has said many times that she sees the lack of change in merch/Harry Potter sales as justification that her views are right, that people agree with her and to keep going. The legions of transphobes will also use the (probably) huge sales of this game as justification of their views and that the ‘woke’ people have lost etc and be insufferable about it.
But I said earlier itt, I see the justifications for boycotting it and justifications for why you’re not immediately evil for wanting to play it. I’ve seen great videos from trans creators on either side of the debate

Voice acting, wonky animations, bad lip syncing and side quests being "fetch 5 of these" will be the complaints. Also complaints about the main story like your choices not affecting the plot (I don't want to hear about goblins being racist or your character being a fascist or whatever)
If Far Cry 5 and HZD were getting 9s from IGN and GameSpot, they better keep the same energy with how they rate this game. Because both of those were more like a 7

Do you recognize there are trans people at wb and likely even avalanche games who have called it out ? I get what you are saying but stealing from developers doesn’t succeed at much of anything . Again by this logic Disney profiting Walt Disney family corrupt too. I am not arguing so much as saying nothing perfect and even if 0 people bought game 0 people watched or bought Harry Potter again she still rich . She has no reason to change her views when she has literally written a book with a trans murderer
