This honestly got potential to be one of the best games of all time if done right

I've been re-reading the Harry Potter novels over the past few months, currently on Goblet of Fire. It's taking me back to when I was a kid and would read them back-to-back as they were coming out.

The game would have to nail these elements to live up to the novels for me: deliver the fantasy of being a student at Hogwarts; contain a cast of interesting characters with strong personalities; and have the player go on adventures and solve mysteries with those characters. (I already know my expectations are too high, smh.)

jason schreier said the game was supposed to be revealed at WB's E3 conference this summer (until covid f***ed e3 up), reveal gotta be coming real soon. given that it's extremely likely to be a next gen only game + sony's relationship with WB being very strong (batman & injustice marketing was connected with sony), i think this is a lock for the imminent PS5 reveal event that should be happening in the next two weeks
