i want to feel the heat in the desert tho
I been through the desert on a horse with no name
Those last couple missions when you're out to avenge your fallen comrades
And then it all comes crashing down
None of that goofy GTA V hollywood s***, just raw shyt, some immigrant in New York trying to do what's right
YES!
you could feel the pain and emotions of Niko, it felt like more of a series whereas V was like a Hollywood movie. IV was well put together!
I been through the desert on a horse with no name
classic song
actually i wonder if they got the rights to put the same songs in these remasters
IV had the best plot of the series, definitely the most mature and well-written. V's plot is the worst, VC is 2nd best, SA is 2nd worst

GTA IV aged like wine, i miss its online mode
V had good characters but the story was weak

thinking back I really dislike the v story. we're barely out of the 10s and it has aged already
I copped 4 on steam a while back, but apparently the music got changed cause of licensing issues. I wonder if there’s a way to mod it with the OG soundtrack, it’d feel off driving around without being able to blast 1979
Yep
IV is easily the best game in the series
FACTS. personally wouldn't say easily because I have SA as a close 2nd but IV is so underappreciated
need to do a replay one of these days
good uploads
nothing screams anti capitalist like a billion dollar video game franchise

The story is definitely a criticism of the "American Dream", have you even played it

the point I'm making is that it's hypocritical to criticize capitalism while simultaneously benefiting from and perpetuating it.

F***ing braindead argument
So anybody who criticizes capitalism has to live in a forest commune from now on?

no lmfao but you shouldn't overwork your workers and not pay them an equal share like rockstar actively does

Of course it's a giant exploitative company, doesn't mean the writer's staff is ideologically aligned that way
It might be a stretch to call it anti-capitalist per se but it is definitely an inversion of the typical rags-to-riches story of GTA VC and GTA SA

yeah I mean Dan Houser didn't start the company and hold a majority stake in it or anything like that

Dan Houser didn't come up with the entire story on his own, are you the type of guy who also believes Steve Jobs invented the iPhone personally or that Elon Musk comes up with rockets?

no, but I think the lead writer has a pretty big influence on the direction of the story and the final say so in absolutely everything

Ok, what's your f***ing point? Dan Houser is not allowed to criticize the American Dream because he does bad stuff personally? What in the f*** are you talking about bozo? Besides, do you think art and artist are one and the same?
