Yeah, I've replayed the game recently and I can't believe it was made in 2008. Physics, world design, pedestrian AI, dialogue, how do you make THIS much of a jump in about 4 years? And they wanted to release it in 07. The team that worked on this must've been made by some of the greatest devs of all time, I don't even want to know how much they worked on it. Couple that with a storyline that makes you feel guilty in a GTA game for being a criminal and that has no happy ending. Wow. GTA 5 is probably one of the biggest disappointments in video game history, game made just to sell f***ing shark cards man

Is it confirmed new engine remake like mafia 1/destroy all humans vibes?

And not just putting the 3 games on one disc for modern consoles with small upgrades?

Dude I just need a new MNC game in general.

Easily the best racing game imo. Love how it’s not closed off races and you actually have to dodge traffic and s***. One of the few games that actually felt like a street race. Not to mention, the abilities and s*** were really fun and cool.

I thought it was better, especially the car handling. NFS handling felt too stiff, but that depends on what you thought was overrated about NFS Underground

Alls I care about with this is are the graphics going to be remade using the rage engine. For all 3 games? I highly doubt it. But that's the only way this would be worthwhile to me. I dont want just spruced up ps2 polygons and textures

"According to these sources, Rockstar is actively developing remastered versions of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. All three of these games are being remastered using Unreal Engine and will be a mix of “new and old graphics.” One source who claims to have seen a snippet of the games in action said that the visuals reminded them of a heavily-modded version of a classic GTA title. The UI for the games are being updated too, but will retain the same classic style. No details were shared about gameplay, but Kotaku has been told these remakes are trying to stay true to the PS2-era GTA games as much as possible."
