If what the update says is true then I'm going be excited. The "remasters" they dropped for PS3/360/PS4/XONE are horrendous. Missing missions, still uses the mobile UI, missing graphics and textures, song licenses expired so they removed almost a quarter of all 3 games soundtracks. I hope all of this is restored in the remasters.

they’re all on iOS and Android so I’m guessing they have dealt with all the copyright headache of being able to re-release these games. But I think a lot of songs were missing on the phone/tablet version of these 3 games. Could be even more songs gone now

The point is, GTA 6 indeed will have multiple cities and they’re just trying to ease that familiarity back into everyone’s minds.

Highly doubt it's gonna launch with multiple, and it is damn near the biggest franchise so I'd hope everyone's familiar by now. Especially with how crazy rockstar just went taking down all those conversion mods recently

They prolly just gonna listen to us for once and drop actual content updates over a long time

Easily the best racing game imo. Love how it’s not closed off races and you actually have to dodge traffic and s***. One of the few games that actually felt like a street race. Not to mention, the abilities and s*** were really fun and cool.

Every single GTA 6 rumor/leak has been in reference to a multi city universe. 5 introduced multiple lead characters, 6 will have multiple cities. It's clear as day.

Most likely not gonna be a complete revisioning like those 2 with art style changes and s*** but it's a new engine for sure

i’ve been theorizing on this for years, multiple cities is the only thing that makes sense. but have they confirmed or have their been leaks that say multiple cities? i keep seeing something saying along the lines of a North Carolina type environment?

There’s been countless “leaks” and rumors stating that a multi-city universe is planned for 6. If it’s true, and they’re planning to use LC, VC, and LS in 6, it makes perfect since why they’re remastering the old trilogy now.

Plus, the natural next evolution after doing multiple playable main characters in 5 is multiple cities in 6.

Super hyped for these remakes. Please bring back the older games’ mission style for GTA 6 though.

4 is absolutely iconic. Story, city design, humour and music are unbeatable

Yeah, I've replayed the game recently and I can't believe it was made in 2008. Physics, world design, pedestrian AI, dialogue, how do you make THIS much of a jump in about 4 years? And they wanted to release it in 07. The team that worked on this must've been made by some of the greatest devs of all time, I don't even want to know how much they worked on it. Couple that with a storyline that makes you feel guilty in a GTA game for being a criminal and that has no happy ending. Wow. GTA 5 is probably one of the biggest disappointments in video game history, game made just to sell f***ing shark cards man
