Well he’s def gonna break that s*** IF they get around to The Death of Superman
I think that “rule” isn’t going to be held true for major characters
If Rick Flagg dies he’ll be dead
But Superman? He ain’t staying dead. I could see the same being true for Hal. Again not saying it’s going to happen but I’m not counting it out
If they do death of superman lol
Hal was old and 40 years in. He’s not coming back dude lmao
Genuine question though if heroes killing and torturing was wrong in Snyderverse why is it okay here? Because it has better writing?
Yes. They kill and torture often in the mcu and no one really cared

That doesn’t mean the Halogram won’t
“Lanterns are cops and John is a superhero” Oh!
bro been begging to be a space cop all movie and is ex military goody two shoes. going to rewatch but I didnt fully get sold on him yet
Great finale but rewriting the oath is insano
i was thinking he was gonna say the sinestro corps oath as a twist
what the hell
This was actually insane
I'm wondering what his suit is gonna be now. He is not even a sworn Green Lantern. Just making up his own s***.
Could make for an interesting Sinestro twist
Lanterns has way too much space lore for it to be a earth based show with 0 special effects budget
I mean I dont personally need action but I did want to see him use his imagination and ring some split up into each episode rather than blowing load on a mid season finale . That is me though
This has been my hope that it would be a film franchise from the start, I just get a bit weary cus they've already picked their poison. Easier to just stay on TV (if it gets renewed) with its set audience. MCU got burned a couple times trying this and now retreated
They've been trying to twist HBO's arm on S2 for months now so idk where the movie would necessarily come from
I think they're in an interesting place with both John and Guy being GL. To where a movie spin out isn't too far out of the world when they're both showing up in the movies, especially with how successful this was show was and the good pr it did for the GL brand

I mean he’s a cop! I don’t know why they’re trying to act like he’s not. But maybe he’ll be different than the other lanterns but idk how
Yes. They kill and torture often in the mcu and no one really cared
I mean the mcu is just dogshit writing I dont care what they do . People did care when there was killing in DCEU
I do respect the DCU for doing original stuff from the get go
It’s def a choice removing sinestro, Hal and carol Ferris right out the gate
I mean the mcu is just dogshit writing I dont care what they do . People did care when there was killing in DCEU
Dceu had bad execution and bad writing too maybe even moreso than mcu

I am justt wondering what the line is considering we now have multiple movies and tv shows back to back every single one has heroes killing
This, supergirl, superman
It’s def a choice removing sinestro, Hal and carol Ferris right out the gate
It kind of reminds me of what Marvel did with Ant-Man when you think about it
Clayface about to be the first one where he possibly doesnt kill or torture / isnt sadistic but likely will be but at least that makes logical sense

Clark didn’t kill anyone lmao

Green Lantern could've been DC's star wars tbh there's just so many stories they could've done with them
Hawkgirl did.
True
I think as long as they don’t have him or Batman kill people wont care

I think it varies. Batman had a really strict no kill rule so making him kill, you gotta be very delicate with the writing and it wasnt really like that in BVS
True
I think as long as they don’t have him or Batman kill people wont care
I mean at this point we pray . I do need Superman to care that hawkgirl killed someone . Bro shook his head at them killing an giant monster after lecturing them about it
Cause really like Batman and Superman are like the two main DC heroes who make sure they don’t kill
