explain how Witcher does any one of these elements in a better way?

Dialogue options in GoT don't impact the story at all and are just there. In Witcher 3 the dialogue options can actually change how quests play out and are more meaningful.

Choosing option A over B can change outcomes that would happen 10 hours later into the game. The game you play is actually shaped around the choices you make. This doesn't happen at all in GoT. TW3 also has the whole crafting/alchemy system and the skill tree in the game allows you to make different builds which has a lot more depth than just deciding which order you tick skills off a list that pretty much ends up getting completed by the end of the game.

I think a better question would be explaining how the RPG elements in GoT are better than the ones in TW3.

Better yet, how the RPG elements in GoT aren't exactly the same as every other AAA game that decides to slap on the cookie cutter RPG elements formula

Levelling up and spending skill points
    Customising Armour
    Collecting Resources
    Merchants to buy/sell goods

sounds exactly like HZD. I guess HZD has better RPG elements than TW3 too lol

I'm not saying one game is better than the other but if you are comparing these 2 based on RPG elements and the answer you came up with is GoT then idk what to tell you.

There is very little depth to the RPG elements in GoT you are better off comparing it to HZD, or maybe even Days Gone; never played that game but it being another AAA open world game I can already tell it probably has at least 4 of the things you mentioned in that list

Anyways the new God of war had fast travel, side quests, etc. it was the most “open world“ game in the series

It might have open world elements such as fast travel but its not an open world game. Just like how some games may have small RPG elements but it doesn't make them RPGs.

The Director for GoW even speaks on why it isnt an open world game

Is the game 3 acts? Like is the story mode just each of the 3 map portions as acts?

I asked you how does it do those RPG things better and basically your response was “witcher 3 does different things like gives you choice”

OK but imo that’s not really an argument for it being better. In my opinion the world and characters and quality of the side missions and your abilities and everything create the rpg experience, if those are quality, then it’s a quality rpg, just because you tack on different endings and different builds doesn’t mean the core experience is 10/10

Again I didn’t compare GOT and GOW, someone else did. And they said GOW was better so I’m just disagreeing and my point is GOT does basically everything GOW did right but on a bigger scale. Also the director called it an “open” game just not fully open world.

Right? Act 2 has been amazing! And I know there is some snowy parts of the map too apparently? I’m guessing that’s up in the area above the act 2 area

You asked me how Witcher does any of those elements better and I gave you an example in the form of how it handles dialogue options in a better way which is one of the things you listed.

Meanwhile you still can't tell me how any of the RPG elements in GoT are handled better than TW3 or even HZD which has the same exact RPG elements and now you are giving me your example of what an RPG is whilst completely disregarding game mechanics? something thats quite important in RPGs and is what we were previously talking about before?

    world
    characters
    side missions

Your "RPG Experience" can be applied to damn near every game with a story and TW3 also has those 3 things you listed and does them incredibly well, the dialogue options that you were disregarding enhances this even further.

There are things that GoT does better than TW3 but its RPG elements isn't one of them

I love the big ass straw hats, they remind me of so many fire samurai films and anime (and afro samurai especially ) and they look goat with the ronin robes

But what was the actual practical usage of them during those times? Like I see they cut eye holes in them to see ahead but sometimes rocking the REALLY big ones feels silly, but also really fire

to protect you from the sun, outside of that and aesthetic reasons there was no deeper use for it
