this is far cry in feudal japan basically. finished it today and already put it up on ebay. not something i would want to go back to after single playthrough, unlike TLOU

Also what makes you want to play TLOU more than once? I played through that s*** once and to this day have had no desire to revisit it, no replay value at all imo

true it's not everyone's cup of tea. i just love story-driven games and graphics. s*** like assassin's creed and until dawn and detroit beyond human and s***

F*** outta here bruh
the only thing this game really has going for it is the visuals and fast loading times. everything else is staggeringly average or meh.

but seriously, not a fan of the combat? Thats probably one of the best features
this game was insanely fun, but that doesn't mean it doesnt have a bit of flaws as well.
positives:
1. some of the best combat i've ever played in a game like this. never once got bored, and its insanely satisfying.
2. the story was good, the side missions were good.
3. the graphics were insanely good at certain moments. fighting in the white flowers while getting a perfect parry off and instantly killing your enemy and wiping your blade after is one of the most beautiful moments.
4. character development was also amazing
5. the 3 different areas were different enough so they didn't feel like they were copy and pasted.
6. standoffs are also challenging at certain points.
7. enemies get harder not becuase, they give them more health or damage, but because they get harder as you progress throughout the game, (different moves, different abilities, etc.)
8. upgrade system is amazing, some of the best ive seen in any game.
9. the armor in the game is also beautiful. (ghost armour >)
10. assassinating is really fun, but playing as a samurai is better.
negatives:
1. the "boss" fights get boring after a while; keep reusing moves, (NOT MAJOR)
2. "liberating" areas is fun, but also just copy and paste, save refugees, kill all enemies, etc. (major)
3. camera was atrocious at times, but amazing at times. (NOT MAJOR)
4. sometimes in cutscenes the game looked much worse than actual gameplay (i was playing on ps4, not pro) (NOT MAJOR)
5. game wasn't as hard as i wanted it to be, i was playing on hard i wish there was something harder tho. (they didnt add the new difficulty when i played) (KINDA MAJOR)
6. moments when the game got too easy even where i'd just be able to run down enemies.. (maybe its because it was easy for me) (kinda major)
overall : 7.5/8 / 10
I think it being a sony exclusive gives it a rose tinted lenses for most people.
It nails somethings beautifully but a lot of it is generic open world standard stuff that Ubisoft has popularized.
Most promising thing is that they have so much stuff they can improve on in in the sequel, Sucker Punch got themselves a great foundation to build off on. Similar to Spider-Man and Horizon Zero Dawn with their own respective sequels.
Sony is in a great spot with those 3 new IP's in the open world genre.
This game f***in blows and boring af
I’m on the first mission, there’s no way the enemies don’t see us
F***in lame wasted $60 on this s***
Guess your a r e t a r d

the combat is not bad the game doesn't really feel challenging. at first it did but i can just go thru a yon of enemies with almost no problem. the novelty of the standoff feature really wore off fast too.
While I’m having fun with the game, there is a surprising amount of jank in it, and I do find some of the villages kind of “eh” looking in terms of texture and general populace.
Definitely feels like the game is coming from a less “prestigious” studio, which, Sucker Punch was always a studio that delivered pretty good games, but have yet to release something truly and undeniably great.
Finished the story I'll bother with the platinum later, s*** is long bro
Also on the ending Spared bro cuz it felt right Jin wasn't on that honor code s\*\*\*, but that aside, the white color you get way better so I'm upset

SLY COOPER
The game started slow
But now that it’s opened up gameplay loop is actually really fun
Good progression system.
Finally finished the game. Was dope as hell tbh. Crossing my fingers for a new Sly Cooper game in the future.
The new lethal mode can get brutal sometimes in big groups or bosses. I get 2 shot constantly. It's definitely way better than hard, I feel like I found a couple charms early that made me way too strong on hard

same, only coz he wanted an honorable death, but f\*\*\* his honor. Let him live with his shame for the rest of his life
