It's a better open world than BOTW, I love BOTW but the level of creative variety in the world of Elden Ring is unmatched. Movement in BOTW is far better though

I’m finding the back tracking in ragnorock a little annoying. I know it’s optional but once you get new equipment I just have to return to every area to check for stuff I missed. Not even the games fault reason but I can’t move on until I find every little raven and artifact f***

I have explained a million times including on thanksgiving why the sony formula isn't for me but I respect it. I have never once called the games sony makes s*** ( outside of Horizon)

The amount of builds you can do in ER is not comparable with gow, its magnitudes bigger. Im all for subjectivity in art, but this Is just an objective claim. Elden ring is an action rpg, where character customization goes from aesthetics to stats to weapons to skills to incantations. God of war is a pure action game with very superficial rpg mechanics (played the "first" on pc and i can attest to that, from big fans of 2018 ive heard this specific part is not better in Ragnarok). God of war is amazing in combos, character feel and control, spectacle, weight, but it doesnt have elden ring's variety and thats ok because theyre two different genres. Also, i wouldve agreed with you if you said demons or dark souls were too mechanic and slow in control, but elden ring is faster, smoother and more fluid than most action rpgs. Go see someone fight the last bosses of the game no-hit and you'll see what i mean. Then compare that movement with any nioh gameplay ever. God of war is smoother yes, because its a pure action game. I think the only comparison you can make between these games is overall enjoyment
