The first few beats I heard the percussions sounded a little generic but I like the melodies. Then after a couple songs the drums changed a bit. I f***s with it. If it’s just instrumentals I think I’ll make a big playlist of that stuff. But I do like to listen to projects straight through instead of shuffling.

Sorry for the late update. I ended up listening to 5 albums Monday and no other new album the rest of the week. I don’t know why. But first I listened to

Al Green- I’m still in love with you
It was good. Of course the tittle track is the best song. Second best song for me is for the good times. Really didn’t like pretty woman. Just don’t like that song in general.

Do or die- headz or tailz
I really liked some songs. But don’t think I wanna listen to an hour+ album from them. Relistened to some songs in the car and that’s definitely how it needs to be heard. Scarface killed his feature. I think my favorite song was lil sum sum

The coup- kill my landlord
I really liked this album. I didn’t expect boots Riley to be spitting like that honestly. Also didn’t expect him to come out saying that as wild stuff as they did on their debut album. Defiantly gonna listen to genocide or juice.

Feist- let it die
This was probably my favorite of the 5 albums I listened to. Didn’t expect to like her that much. Really didn’t expect her to have a Bee Gees cover but it worked well.

Joji- nectar
Forgot I had listened to this album when it was released. I really liked it. I think run is my favorite.

I have jury duty tomorrow so I’m sure I’ll get some albums in.
