21 savage slaughter king
21 savage the slaughter tape
these albums are so f***ing good i'm so sad i overplayed them and can't enjoy them anymore, so it would make me extremely happy if someone would listen to them and appreciate them
Krayzie Bone - Thug Mentality 1999
Scarface - The Untouchable
Jodeci - The Show, the After Party, the Hotel
2Pac - Me Against The World
Do or Die - Headz or Tailz
You'll be a better man for it @op
-never cared for bone thugs. Besides crossroads. But I’ll check it out.
-I love Scarface’s features. He kills every song. But I listened to the fix and I think it was just way too overhyped for me by the time I got around to listening to it. Didn’t care for it. But I’ll check out the untouchable. I really do love Scarface.
-only heard a little of one or two songs of them. Didn’t care. But I will give that album a shot.
-honestly never been a big pac fan. (No pun intended) (triple entendre don’t even ask me how) (I’m drunk). But I do respect him. I’ll give it a full listen.
-never heard of do or die. Skipped to a minute into lil sum sum. Yeah it’s going on the list. Thanks.
feist - let it die
seiji oda - human + nature
dom kennedy - original dom kennedy
ti - king
-skimmed through a little leisure suite and a few seconds of let it die. Not bad for the 1234 girl. I’ll check it out.
-skimmed through like 5 songs from human + nature. Not my cup of tea. He’s got a nice flow sometimes. Just not for me.
-never cared for Don Kennedy. Is “original Don Kennedy” the project? I don’t see it on Apple Music. But I’ll add some of his stuff to my playlist.
-I just don’t like TI as a person honestly. His older hits are classics and he’s got some great verses. But sometimes he’s just an annoying old b**** lol.
Thanks for the recommendations.
The Coup - Genocide and Juice
Swamp Dogg - Total Destruction to Your Mind
Gustavo Cerati - Bocanada
A Flash Flood of Colour - Enter Shikari
Black Bolshevik - Ghais Guevara
Elite Vessel - Lexa Gates
Kill My Landlord - The Coup
-not really my style
-Ghais Guevara. After skimming through a couple songs I was gonna say he must be a big JPEP mafia fan. Then I played the first song and that confirmed it lol. I feel like I’d rather just listen to JPEG.
-Lexa Gates I feel like I wouldn’t mind her as a feature. Doesn’t sound bad. Might check her out.
-I remember listening to some political podcast by tom morello and seek tankian and they played we are the ones by the coup and loved it. Never really listened to anything else by them. Definitely going to the last.
Thanks.
Will try to reply to everyone. By Sunday I’ll have a list ready for next week. Depending on how much I get maybe I’ll do two albums a day so 8 a week. Also try to keep it to stuff on Apple Music or YouTube if possible.
Apple Music. I also have YouTube premium.
dang I was gonna rec some highly curated playlists. ill stick to psych recs instead;
13th Floor Elevators debut from 1966 (mono version)
Safe As Milk - Captain Beefheart
Forever Changes - Love
Parable Arable Land - Red Krayola
-not really my style

Tom Morello and Boots Riley (of The Coup) did a project together called Street Sweeper Social Club actually I love it
-Listened to you’re dead a few times when it came out. Not a big fan of flylos solo stuff. I’ll probably slip it im rotation. Never catch me is a classic
-Never heard of Untiljapan. I’ll check them out.
-Blank Face LP is in my top 10 albums oat.
-Never cared for Sahbabii. I’ll check out Saheem this weekend.
-Never been big on reggae. Besides Bob and Damian Marley and Matisyahu. I do wanna expand more. Going on the list for sure.
Appreciate it.
if you want some elite reggae check out Super Ape but the Upsetters
-Never heard of J Hus. Put on gold and was like nah I’m not gonna like him. Went to big conspiracy and put on fight for your right for about 30 seconds. Was actually pretty nice. Gonna check him out.
-never cared for Skepta from what I’ve heard. I might throw it on during the weekend.
-Checked out a few songs of Niska. Not feeling any of that. But appreciate the diversity.
-For some reason when I thought of making this thread the first artist suggestion I thought of was Metallica. I don’t know why. Never been a big fan. Do like their hits. I’ll check it out.
Thanks.
Yeah niska was a wild card
Do check out Master of Puppets if you like Ride the lightning tho
Raphael Saadiq - Instant Vintage
NBA youngboy - Decided
Lucki - Freewave 3
Al Green - I’m still in love with you
-only ever heard him on features. Love him on soul food by big krit. Gonna check it out.
-tried to listen to nba youngboy. Never liked him. So kinda like him on wusyaname.
-skimmed through some. Not my cup of tea.
-love Al green. Think I’ve only heard the title track off that album. Might put this in the first week of albums.
Thanks.
YAYAYI - YAYAYI
Don’t see that project in Apple Music. Is that person just a producer? I skimmed through YAYAYI & Amai and it’s just beats. But they’re pretty nice.
John Frusciante - Curtains
Top 5 guitar player for me. Never heard his solo stuff besides a little of Maya. Didn’t really like that style from him. Never heard him play acoustic. Definitely going to the list. Thanks.
The Coup - Genocide and Juice
Swamp Dogg - Total Destruction to Your Mind
Gustavo Cerati - Bocanada
-Second person to recommend The Coup. They suggested their first album so I’ll start with that one.
-Swamp Dogg. Man is a menace with those covers and tittles. But the music don’t sound bad.
-looked up Gustavo Cerati on Apple Music and his picture looks kinda like Tom from succession. Listened to a minute of the title track. Sounds nice. It’ll go on the list. Thanks.
Doesnt get much better than Mkgee - Two star & the dream police
I’ve been meaning to listen to him. I added that album to my library a few months ago. But at work I can only use one headphone and my work area is kinda loud. I feel like his music is better if you can hear it clearer. I do wanna listen to him tho. I liked his work on biebers new album.

Youre right his music has a certain subtlety about it so its better to listen in a more silent place to take it all in fully

The empyrean, inside of emptiness, and the will to death are all great less acoustic more straightforward rock albums also

Damn I didn’t know it got taken down that sucks, still on SoundCloud then
But yea he’s a producer but the one I mentioned is like half beats half remixes
