i think when this is out on blu ray and 4k and streaming i think it would make more money - there are cases where movie fails in cinema and Made tons of money when it drops on home media

I know before streaming movies would become successful later through physical media like Nightmare Before Christmas or Friday. But idk if streaming killed that since physical sales aren’t what they were and piracy

Damn, it’s absolutely wild that it hasn’t even been a month since release and yet this movie is already being pulled from theatres.. (Not to mention the floppage at the box office).

Finally going Saturday all the show times are empty except for 3 seats and I realized the 3 seats are broken

Might have to catch this for a third time in theaters on Sunday evening or early next week before it gets pulled.

Went from thinking the first trailer was mid to thinking it was masterful after having seen the movie twice

I mean I had no issue with Furiosa in this movie but lets not lie. She is no where near Sarah Connor.

Solid lead though. But I think Charlize's portrayal was better.

For the 21st century I do agree with you. I just think politics has become too identity based and performative for movie writing to ever come close to the great female leads of before with Sarah and Ripley. Everything is just too much "look im a strong and independent woman" instead of just showing them be that.

I'd say Furiosa, Katniss, Hermione, Lydia Tar, The Bride are probably my favorite female leads of the last 20 years
