White people again on the wrong side of history, then when the oppressed break their shackles they gon pretend like they were against it the whole time. Like ww2, like apartheid, and everything else. F*** em

Like WW2? You're inferring that Jews aren't white, and Jews = Israelis

    Your logic doesn't add up

its not an internet thing although its often portrayed that way since as a neologism its become a sort of pejorative politically due to it being associated with modern government norms.
neoliberalism is essentially the political paradigm of modern post-WW2 western countries (and countries developing mirroring western structure). It follows classical capitalist-liberal principles with a fixation on economic growth and principled markets, and focuses heavily on the roles of privatization & globalization alongside traditionally liberal government policies. The primary fixation on neoliberalism is on market growth and global markets, so extreme value is placed on corporations and how corporations distill down to social landscapes.

colloquially, neoliberalism is a variation of capitalism in which state services are cut in favor of free market privatization

I would say that neoliberalism is going away and we are entering a new era of nationalist protectionism

No those are the countries the PLO attempted coups in

two things that took place 20(ish? i think?) years after palestinian displacement to those countries to begin with.
while i'm not an expert on the events leading up to black september or palestinian conflict in lebanon, i think chalking those things up to palestinians having a radical history of starting s*** as opposed to being a result of their conditions post-nabka is dishonest & not exactly useful historically.

until countries are willing to purposefully kneecap YoY economic growth this simply isn't true regardless of what social politics exist. the only way for countries to not be neoliberal is to be okay with sacrificing GDP growth year-to-year in favor of nationalist policy - this is virtually never going to happen in the west.

MENA politics are pretty complex and in honesty the history of the region makes it hard to really say any country has a hugely favorable overall history. Of course distilling this down to citizens of said countries is crazy, however thinking of countries as political entities historically decision-making in MENA has been absolutely insane

And here I think it’s a result of the PLO being cartoonishly incompetent
