Palestinians are taking 10s of Israeli hostages to negotiate the release of the 1000s of Palestinians prisoners in Israeli jails.

That's the whole point of the hostages.

Giving people a right to return to a land they have never personally been to was and is always a mistake. What do you want me to say. There is no way to sugar coat it. Doing so enables ethnic cleansing. They return to a land they have never lived on and push people out that are living there because a higher power (Balfour Declaration) and God said they could? undermining the lives of people that live there.

That and they're spreading the hostages across Gaza so Israel can't just fire at Gaza as indiscriminately as they would like to

Well the majority of Israelis are of Middle Eastern origin, which would probably make them the same race as whatever Palestinians are (this is, just off appearance, most likely “white” but that’s beside the point). There is also a sizable group of an Ethiopian Jews in Israel. Then, there is a small but decently sized proportion of Palestinians are Christian, plus many unequivocally white ethnicity are Muslims. So I disagree with “White” and “Muslim” being mutually exclusive, as well as the necessary equation of Israeli with white and Palestinian with Muslim.

i guarantee you given the amount of hostages israel is gonna do it anyway and then just blame the deaths on hamas. they've done this before anyway, its not like they really care about individual citizens to that extent in the wider scheme of things. US has done this too w/ hostage situations in the middle east and ended up killing US civilians then just blamed terrorists.
