Season 2 is the quintessential Atlanta season, and one of the best seasons of any show ever. It's Atlanta working at it's highest powers .
It's funny as hell, dramatic af, snd written perfectly. I could talk about that season for hours

Season 4 is the greatest hits season, and also the most mature and reflective season.
It takes everything that worked from the previous 3 seasons, and combines it all together to give us a season that every Atlanta fan should love

Season 1 is comedy gold, and definitely the most digestible season.
It's the perfect introduction to the show, and there isn't a single low point to the season imo. And it probably contains the show's funniest moments

Season 4 is the dreamy psychedelic experimental season. And although i believe overall it's the most inconsistent season, the highs are extremely high and when season 4 is great...IT'S REALLY REALLY GREAT. And contains some of the best moments of the entire series

Season 1 is College Dropout
Season 2 is Late Registration
Season 3 is Graduation

But tbh I think they decided to skip over 808s, and instead went with MBDTF for season 4. Just like that album, season 4 is the accumulation of everything that came before it

Tarrare really worse than Helen to people?

I don’t get the tarrare hate
It’s weird and doesnt make for a good finale but it’s an interesting watch

Van heavy episodes in general are some of the worst in the show to me Value, Juneteenth, Champagne Papi, Helen, Snipe Hunt, Tarrare all not featuring if I had to list the best episodes. I fw the Mr Chocolate one though

And wow didn't realize people disliked Helen so much. But I love Value as well sooooo

Funniest episodes to me has to be It was all a dream, Alligator Man, Light Skinned-ed, Ban, The Club, Three slaps. I'll rewatch Juneteenth, but I doubt it's up there with these for me

Value not bad for me, but still not up there. That kid in white face and Van's principal were pretty funny though

I think Van and Earn's relationship was just one of the least interesting aspects of the show to me

Three Slaps is an interesting choice for one of the funniest episodes

Definitely had funny moments but the horrific moments outweighed that for me

Juneteenth is full of classic quotes and moment

"I'll have the Plantation Master Poison. "

"I don't know... this spooky thing called "slavery" happened, and my entire ethnic identity was erased, so..."

The story its based on irl is sad af, but the version in the show has a happy ending Just that kid's name is funny to me, they chose the blackest s*** possible - Laquarius

Him getting hyped and dancing on a table because they're going to watch Black Panther 2. The granddad slapping him like that video. The raw fried chicken, the wash cloth joke. That cop saying "Slow down kid, I almost shot you". "Aww, is Hugs your father?" So many moments in that episode had me cackling

I agree, they are usually the worst. I only liked value, champagne papi, mr chocolate, and tarrare. Juneteenth was okay

Cannot for the life of me remember a single thing that happens in Helen. Whole episode was just bleh

Any episode centered around van and earns relationship always falls flat for me. Like I couldn’t give a damn about them together if I tried

I just restarted it two days ago. Next episode is Helen lol. Hopefully upon rewatch I enjoy it more

Been watching season 3 today I haven't really seen any of it since the episodes aired. It's so good even better than I remember
