If it's in this show, i just expect it to never be brought back up again.
Was thinking the same but that’s something pretty heavy to drop nonetheless
But then again Darius had to deal with Teddy and was never talked about again

I’m happy that they’re going back and I see from post that old characters are coming back, maybe tieing up some strings from the first 2 seasons🤔it’s lit
Yah without spoiling it there's a returning character in episode 2 already I was so happy to see again. Kat Williams is in a trailer also
All the Earl joints are fire and better than some of the boppy stuff on Sick!

How long until the Uncle Willy abused Earn conspiracy theories start?
Id hope not
i love how unpredictable this show is lol that was fire
also using earl to pay homage to mf doom was so dope. great episode in general, perfect mix of all their strengths
So, nobody's going to mention how the scene from Earn and Van going through the dark emergency exit, and coming out on the other side didn't signify a (re)birth of some kind? (I mean, notice their dialogue about the walls, the sounds, and seeing a light at the end. It's beautiful)
Especially, it being the first ep after a very surreal season 3. It comes off to me as a rebirth of the show in a way even, leaving the surreal s*** of the whole Atlantic City garage thing behind them.
And then, it also coinciding with Al's eerie scavenger hunt which ultimately lead him to nothing else but the simple truth. That in spite of the hope and illusion that the scavenger hunt created, the truth is simple, and Blue Blood's dead. The journey/hunt itself was great and exciting, but at the end he had to make peace with the truth tho.
”I would never let you become like them”
Yooo Earn’s fight with Tracy in season 2 makes so much more sense now that we got his backstory
Earn got his suit stolen at Princeton, went in to take it back, and it ruined his whole life and sense of self. Then in North of the Border, Earn got his laptop jacked and ended up having a f***ing mental breakdown trying to bust the door open to get it back. And then on the car ride back, Tracy started picking with him
Not knowing or understanding Earn’s backstory, the scene was just funny and Earn seemed like a pressed nigga who was too mad about Tracy to take a joke but now I realize the s*** was so much deeper than that. Earn was having a flashback to the Sasha situation and Tracy was legit triggering him without anybody knowing
Episode 1 fire
Epi 2 type boring so far lol
you wild. episode 2 was top-tier
ok dis more f***ed up version of the rehearsal
BRO SAME THING I THOUGHT!!!!

I mean, yeah, you could make sense of it that way. But it's also completely plausible that this part of Earn's backstory was not even actually written at that time. They could've literally just written that part of his back story way later, than the Tracy situation.
