Wait we only got six pages from a two-episode premiere?
BCS thread was pulling like 30 pages an ep
Scared because of last season, didn’t even watch it yet. I would of been hyped

It's back to normal. I thought S3 was a big miss and wasn't excited for S4 at all really but first two episodes are great
what episode was that from. i dont remember that at all
Its not from a previous episode
So, nobody's going to mention how the scene from Earn and Van going through the dark emergency exit, and coming out on the other side didn't signify a (re)birth of some kind? (I mean, notice their dialogue about the walls, the sounds, and seeing a light at the end. It's beautiful)
Especially, it being the first ep after a very surreal season 3. It comes off to me as a rebirth of the show in a way even, leaving the surreal s*** of the whole Atlantic City garage thing behind them.
And then, it also coinciding with Al's eerie scavenger hunt which ultimately lead him to nothing else but the simple truth. That in spite of the hope and illusion that the scavenger hunt created, the truth is simple, and Blue Blood's dead. The journey/hunt itself was great and exciting, but at the end he had to make peace with the truth tho.
Love how when Earn and Van are at the mall, the song on repeat thats playing there on the speakers has the lyrics
"How did you get here, nobodies supposed to be here"
Gives that song a creepy feeling, and relates directly to the episode
Hearing exclusive Earl on Atlanta was not the collab I knew I needed, but it was such a dope concept
And Earl is the closest thing we have to a new generation DOOM , so it works perfectly
Earn and van at the mall felt like a Jordan peele horror romance movie I wouldn’t mind seeing if it was flushed out.
Episode 1 was alright but Episode 2 was the show back in form. Overall, pretty good start to the show's final season.
I’m surprised there wasn’t an episode that wasn’t apart of the main characters. Or maybe because it’s the last season we won’t see that many of those

O wow I really like that breakdown. Makes sense why the 2nd episode is wayyyy more grounded
But I do hope the rest of the season still can maintain a surreal feel, even if it's not a surreal as season 3. But im sure that unique 'Atlanta' won't go away
Can we talk about Earn being abused by a family member ? That came so left field (not in a bad way) and now I’m wondering if that storyline will pop up
I’m wondering if this is something that really happened to Donald glover. It was also mentioned in a episode of community. Has he been trying to tell us something this whole time.

That’s what I took from it, glad I’m not the only one

I thought this was mentioned before but now I'm thinking it was the Community episode

In previous interviews and old songs, he talked about how he was an RA when he was at NYU. He also said the girl he lost his virginity to was an RA as well
I can’t tell at all how much of this was real but it was on my mind while watching
