bro none of my f***ing embeds are working for some reason. can y’all see the review I linked?
no
no
yeah didn’t think so. idk why this happens when I try to embed certain links but just google “collider Atlanta season 4 review”
The only thing that S3 does to me is make a S5 necessary. I think the whole concept of S3 works way better when you get two seasons before and after that focus on the main case, with the middle season being kind of an interlude. Now there just isn't enough time left to have with these characters and their situations.
Plus, all the best TV shows have five seasons.
Edit: Didn't really finish my thought / fully articulate but I still think S3 was a great season. It was brilliantly devised. Loved the stories they told. Yes it was frustrating to not have the main cast all the time but I still enjoyed the themes and messages and stories. I just want more time with the main cast so that'll be the only shadow that S3 casts on the series for me
Collider wrote a review of the first three episodes of season 4
Without spoilers, the reviewers say it’s def more like season 1 but with the horror tone that the last couple seasons have established. the main cast features in all three episodes. according to the reviewer, episode 2 will also reveal more about Earn’s past and Donald apparently gives his best performance in the entire series in that ep. I’m pretty excited
Yoooo that has me HYPED AF.
When Donald said the season 4 would have a similar tone to season 1, I was kinda worried that we wouldn't get any more creepy/horror tones that 2 and 3 had
But knowing that feeling is still there made my hype shoot through the roof
The Collider article reveals the plots of the first 3 episodes, so I'd avoid it if you wanna go in blind.
But this paragraph made me hype
If these first three episodes are any indication of where Atlanta is heading in its final episodes, it’s a truly compelling direction, as Glover looks back on his time with this show and his career in general. Over the course of these three episodes, we watch as these characters learn that all that pettiness can be powerful but overwhelming, what truly matters is what survives and not what is fun, but also, that all that really matters for us is to have as much fun as we can with our time on this Earth. Glover and the Atlanta team are at their most introspective this season, and considering how many directions this show has gone in, it’s fascinating to watch Atlanta attempt to tie all of this together with a bow

Hey, did you see Game of Thrones last night?
Do you have any IPAs on tap ?
The beginning of the end of the greatest show on television (right now) next week. Feelings are bittersweet
I hope they back to storytelling instead of loose vignettes
No anthology episodes.
Idk why but I feel like Darius or paperboy is gonna die this season
I wonder how they’ll handle something like that. It would be such a tone shift cause most of the show is super comedic

I’m only half way through S2 but a lot of this s*** is really heavy, some of it is very dark comedy.
Especially the opening of S2, that s*** was f***ing insane. They could pull it off.
Van and Earn have the strangest relationship ever lol
i relate to it so much minus the kid thank god
