It wasn’t no reason tho? She clearly felt like she lost her purpose and didn’t wanna just be stuck as a “mom” so she ran away and disassociated from herself so much she believed she was a different person entirely until she snapped out of it in the kitchen
Now would I say this is good writing? Idk but I def wouldn’t say it’s for no reason or doesn’t make sense based on what they told us this season already, her being out of character was to show she wishes she was someone else this whole season and snaps out of it last episode

I think he went even deeper into the rabbit hole he was already in. He seemed a little more grounded in Atlanta. But in Europe he was doing and saying a bunch of obscure s***. Even highlighting how aimless he really is.

In that episode where they take the psychedelic, he’s taking advantage of Paperboys money: it isn’t devious, but he doesn’t really bring much to the table.
Paperboy knows that since his subconscious (the chick) told him that his friends are using him.

According to Van this whole “manic episode” has been building when she decided to leave Atlanta. Since then she has been reminded of Lottie a few times, why when Earn mentioned her didn’t she snap back into reality if that’s all it took?
