Man, the music choices has been on point this season
I wanna look up pretty much all the music they use, especially for the end credits. Hope it's music Donald is inspired by for his next album
Wait, so in the Atlanta universe Donald Glover exist?Does that mean that Atlanta exist as a show within Atlanta?
Episode 9 was fire
The shea butter Twitter reference, Clarence Thomas diss, etc.
Don’t get why he didn’t just make a 2nd show that was an anthology series. No doubt the anthology episodes are great, but it has pretty much killed the main show.
Might as well just end the original Atlanta at some point and go this racial black mirror route.

So we are in for a treat for the finale
Barbershop in my top 3

what happen in Buffallo?
this post is so interesting to me cus like
I often wonder what the point of these types of episodes is. Not to say that they're pointless, just that it's tricky trying to figure out the intentions n s***.
Cus I mean one possible explanation is that Donald Glover and the rest of the Atlanta team are trying to find sympathy for characters like the dude in this episode. or the white guy who lost his home n wife to reparations, s*** like that. Sometimes it really seems like the goal is to get people to relate to and feel for these characters.
But then u look at how ppl are actually reacting to this s*** and its like this complete and absolute lack of empathy lol. like haha look at this d***head f*** that dude. Which like yea I get it that's how I feel after a lot of these episodes too. But if the goal of the writers is to develop sympathy for these characters its kind of crazy to see how hard they are failing lol. Just that like lack of empathy is so interesting to me.
yes I know so long TLDR: its crazy to me the lack of empathy for the main characters in these non-earn episodes
I mean they’re clearly written so you feel both throughout the ep lol it’s just 3 dimensional charecter writing so you see both sides . Not sure there’s meant to be a “correct” reading of these anthology eps they’re to provoke thought & discussion. If it was just some evil white cop story it would fall pretty flat imo

Facts. If it was just a boohoo story about a biracial kid who’s not accepted by black ppl, I mean that could work, but it’s inherently more interesting the fact that he tries to erase his black side until it’s time to use it. And even goes as far to use slurs as if he’s fully white. And even more interesting that he’s being raised by a black father daily.

Ya in reality these topics are a lot more weird & nuanced . The writers of the show just capture that
Not to go galaxy brain but U can see that ep as black & white or all grey areas
think abt it
what happen in Buffallo?
The mass shooting
The end of this episode had me rolling

Lol still don't get it
