All the anthology eps have been fascinating and brilliant
all the main cast eps have been incredibly entertaining and powerful

I wish they'd make it it's own show I honestly think if they made an entirely separate anthology series with in the same vein it would surpass Atlanta
Rewatched with my friend and the first thing he said was "is he lying" and I totally overlooked it. I'm hoping he isn't. I feel like when he was lying to Al in the previous seasons it was to protect him because they were on the come up and I'm hoping because they aren't on the come up that Earn has nothing to lie about. So hopefully, he's telling the truth.
Honestly I just straight up assumed he was lying. I'm surprised that isn't the consensus

the delayed delivery of it all
the potential implications to bring us back to focus on the main cast
him being like
at first when al asked the first time
nigga knew there was only one right answer and the first “huh” def wasn’t it 😭
Let's pretend the show never existed. Do ya'll think if Season 2 or 3 was compressed together into a 2 hour film it would be dope? Only take the episodes that the main cast is in, and maybe take about 20 minutes of each episodes so it equals to around 2 hours.
Like a surreal type hangout film that doesn't really feel like its going anywhere plot wise. Or does Atlanta only work as a show.
Shut up man

He did the classic “huh?” to delay to give himself more time to think about the answer… or at least the writers want to intentionally plant that thought in your head even if he is telling the truth

that’s what makes the show great for sure, they know their audience well despite it being diverse
they got black twitter and blue check twitter in the palm of their hand

He just seeemed so genuine with his response. Earn this season really been on his s***. Him realizing being Al’s cousin wasn’t enough to secure his job really woke him tf up

Damn I didn’t even realize Earn be using “huh” a lot as a tactic. The power of repetition

Me too, I’ve been checking out a lot of discussion around this episode and people seem to think he was telling the truth when I thought it was obvious he was lying. Like lets’s not forget that when he got Al that deal he wasn’t the competent manager he is today

It’s entertaining sure. But it’s a very big writers no no. If the season doesn’t honor those episodes and tie it up in some way rewarding it’s going to look sloppy. Those episodes are fantastic. But that s*** needs to either have a conclusion or it needs to be it’s own show. It can definitely make the audience feel cheated if they don’t conclude it well. Imo

« big writers no no »
pretty sure the show has always challenged what’s a « no no » don’t u think lol
i have a feeling the masters thing is gonna be way more complex than just « does al own them or not »
i would love if the conflict is less « earn f***ed over al » and more so « earn negotiated some s***ty deals because lack of leverage in the beginning, now they have to reconcile and get their masters » in s4
would be so dope
i don’t wanna believe the show will end with resolution, but the way they were talking in sxsw made it seem like there’s gonna be some kind of resolution
these anthology episodes are amazing but s4 being only 8 episodes kinda hurts now that we’re so close to the end of s3
i think the anthology episodes are gonna be loved way more once s4 gives the fans what they want. i don’t think it will be complete fan service, but SXSW made it seem like they’re gonna bring us back the old vibes
This wasn’t my favorite episode tbh. A little too abstract for me to understand what it was supposed to mean

tbh I don’t think the masters thing will be relevant at all in the future. this show is notable for dropping story aspects that would be a huge deal in other shows. we still don’t even know why Earn left college. I def think the whole masters subject will be similar, it’s just something for Al and the audience to ponder on for this one episode. i could be wrong tho
