I've been curious about this game since I copped an Xbox Series S last year and I finally decided to cop it a few days ago when it was on sale. This is my second From Software game, with Elden Ring being the first (I beat Elden Ring a few weeks ago). Some REALLY hard mini-bosses and boss fights so far, but GOLLY how satisfying is this combat system? Timing your attacks and blocks and countering feels so good. Very fast paced and hard, but man, so dope.

Ouf, this fight I had earlier today against Genichiro Ashina was sooo satisfying
I will probably replay this fight more than once.
might still be the best fromsoft game
at the very least it feels like the fairest. no real sudden difficulty spikes aside from the final boss.
elden ring might have sekiro beat in every other department
but man, the way the combat in this game gets your blood pumping is something else. i didnt know video games could do this

Yeah this was my first from game and going to elden ring afterwards I can say I enjoyed the sekiro combat more
Finally beat that Drunkard a******
I tell you what, out of all the FromSoft games, this is the one that I put down out of frustration for months at a time, like it's still good, but MAN, the hardest one easily IMO, even if ER has the hardest boss of the series
Elden Ring must have trained me like crazy, I just beat Lady Butterfly first try

Yeah its barely related to the rest of their games in terms of gameplay. Soooo different. I bought it on release but hated the combat, took me like 2 years before I finally went back. Even then I had to watch like 2 walkthrough videos of the early game just to catch on to how it should be played.

Lady Butterfly easy af bro
Great fight tho, you got this.
Appreciate it man, the first part isn't really that hard if you parry well, it just takes such a long time that dying feels super demoralising
