except they don’t actually have to do that

Wack100 being the source should be enough to convince you it’s bullshit

if you didn’t know who Wack100 is before this, he’s basically as credible as Alex Jones

So we're just gonna ignore all common sense

the election happened already, that’s the difference

it’s been known the whole reason for this RICO happening when it did was for election season

the DA no longer cares about it

yeah i disagree. the DA said that she’s been in contact with the family of nut and she’s making it her duty to hold ppl accountable for the murder. she’s emotionally invested to some degree and i don’t think she’s gonna throw that all away over an election. that wouldn’t even make sense

i'd like to think thug gave the approval on all of these..

Go to 5:13. This is Thug's lawyer saying hes innocent on all charges. He's being charged in a RICO, which says he's the leader of a crime organization.

Why would Thug give the approval to have others say YSL is a gang and hurt his case?

Are you saying that he's ok with spending 20+ years in prison so Gunna, Duke and others can go free?

no, the DA made a whole big thing of this in the first place because of the election

that’s why they kept delaying the trial initially, because they never actually had enough evidence to lock anyone up, but the DA wanted to look good for the votes

now that the election’s over, the DA doesn’t need to keep up this hard stance about the case, so it’s come to light that they don’t have enough on YSL to keep everyone locked up, and that’s why people have been coming home

Why would Young Thug give the approval for others to say YSL is a gang when his own lawyer is trying to prove that he's not in a gang and is this wonderful human being?

    Use your common sense here.

Because it’s almost a fact that YSL has operated as a Gang (to the DA and those who dont know how gangs work)

Its over 20 other defendants somebody is snitching no matter what

    circumstances change

you’re also very conveniently leaving out how before Gunna or anyone else took the pleas, someone else took a plea claiming to be the co-founder of YSL with Thug, which started the whole domino effect

i don’t disagree the election was her main drive in this indictment. but it would be dumb to throw it all away just because elections are over

ppl are coming home because they’re giving up information. like buddy said earlier, in rico cases the majority of the people involved cop pleas.

the longer thug takes the worse it’s gonna be. shotti took a plea and got 15, cassonova took a plea and got 20

edit: also out of 28 ppl indicted and over 300 witnesses you think the prosecution is really struggling to get info ?

I don't pray that Gunna snitched because he did. I'm simply correcting the people spreading this delusional narrative. I actually don't care that he did what he did. I would've done the same. What I don't understand is yall living in denial for whatever reason. Does Gunna snitching hurt yall listening experience? Cause I'm still gon bump Met gala to this day

i just don’t get this sentiment ppl have. gunna was denied bail 4 different times and all of the sudden the DA had a change of heart and granted him a plea for little to nothing ?

they got information they wanted which is why people are getting pleas. seems like some of y’all are running from reality

it’s not a ‘change of heart.’ it’s just a failure. they didn’t get what they wanted. and they had no other move left.

think about it like this. if it was real snitching they would have received a normal plea deal, plea to a lesser charge in exchange for cooperation.

they didn’t get that. they got Alford Pleas. they didn’t have to plea guilty to anything. they just had to state in court ‘Yes’ while the DA lists some statements agreed upon by the lawyers.

if they were really snitching, why wouldn’t the state just do it the first way and make a charge stick? why even do the Alford Plea? bc they couldn’t get any useful info outta these guys and Alford Plea was the best they could get out of them.

now lucky for them, a lot of ppl are so stupid they’re looking at the Alford plea as ‘snitching’ just bc these guys are rappers and ppl were excited to believe that anyway.

the whole snitching thing is semantics at this point. the case thugs defense was making is that YSL is not a gang. gunna is on video stating that it is a gang and he's obligated to testify if need be. gunna also stating the d**** and guns found in the car isn't his (which is dry snitching). forces thugs defense to take it to trial or plea out. other members that took pleas have also substantiated these claims of ysl being a gang. who knows what info has been given up behind the scenes

idk what else you would call that but it feels like y'all are pretending it's something different than what it is

‘Gunna is on video stating that it is a gang’

no. Gunna says ‘Yes’ in court to a question/statement posed by the DA as a formal stipulation of the Alford Plea to be released from jail and avoid trial. it is a formality. i’m not sure how to get ppl to understand that.

have you ever seen The Staircase? real case. man maybe kills his wife. the state eventually decides they can’t prove the case. they give the man an Alford Plea. he has to state in court that he’s responsible for his wife’s death or sthg like that. and he goes free, avoiding trial.

‘who knows what info was given up behind the scenes’

if info was given up, they would have played this entirely differently and not done the Alford Plea. lol think critically man. if Gunna, etc. had told them, yeah I know about a murder or d**** or anything serious, they’d still have him in jail where he’s safe and they’d be prepping him to testify. there’d be no need for an Alford.

the ppl who are ratting did not take Alford pleas. it’s that simple. they’re ppl with more serious charges who plead down.

these formalities are done in their own personal interests so they won't be charged, but will be used against thugs defense if taken to trial...

ofc it’s in their interest. it saves tons in billable hours paid to lawyers, court fees, and nixes additional jail time. it would be absolutely insane not to take the Alford
    plea.

it won’t be used against Thug bc it’s not real testimony man. they concoct a statement related to your charges and you say Yes, sir or ma’am. it’s just a formality with no weight behind it.

what do you not understand about that?? are you just hell bent on believing these guys are snitches bc that’s a better story for you?

you’re essentially saying everyone who took pleas are walking freely with slaps on the wrists. this is a RICO, be for real

and no this life s*** is not sweet. i’m upset that an endless cycle of trauma continues. you have ppls livelihoods that are affected on both sides and fans want their fav artists absolved of all wrong doing just cause they like their music. the reality is thug probably won’t be in his kids lives for a long time and anyone dead or in jail on either side lost their family too
