the part where you’re wrong is when you assume that because he’s only listed as ‘Manager,’ that he’s not the owner or an owner.

there is no ‘Owner’ designation on LLC paperwork, only Members, Managers, and Managing Members, and while it can be tempting to dive into the distinctions there, they honestly don’t matter much since they’re just Day 1 designations really.

Real contractual agreements, likely unavailable to the public, will determine ownership structures and profit sharing and operations handling, and that will usually change over time. in fact, you’d hope it would bc you hope profit increases over time and investors generally get paid more upfront and decrease their ownership stake over time.

sorry to harp on this in this way, but I just don’t like ppl reading this and thinking Thug definitely getting screwed. just not true.

I mean, you're right that it's impossible to determine profit sharing but you can definitely determine ownership based on the distinction of if someone is listed as a member or not. If it was a generic corporation then I'd agree with you as who knows what the stock ownership breakdown would be, but as a LLC there are meaningful distinctions in terms of member vs managing member (especially since Manager is an actual formal designation). The fact that Thug isn't listed as an actual member of the LLC implies he has no stake of ownership. That's not to say he's getting no money from it obviously, but it does imply he's not actually within the structured ownership, only operational. The listing of him as a manager goes even up to most recent filings so it implies even outside of the initial organization he was never moved to be an actual member of its ownership.

    Been plotting on them since

    Except not quite lol

“'We just woke up, went to the jail with the lawyer … the DA's, the prosecutors, the bonding companies, and got as many people as we can out, like 20 or 30 people,' Young Thug said to Channel 2’s Michael Seiden … who just happened to get word of the pair’s good deeds.

There were not 30 people bailed out, according to jail records and the bonding agent. Only six, all of whom faced relatively serious charges.

“If they did the crime, then they can do the time, then it’s aiight,” Young Thug said. “But it’s like you’re giving them a bond higher than what they stole.”

YSL records gave Channel 2 video of the release of the prisoners. The clip shows the reunion of a young man with his young son. It also shows a cameraman three feet from that man’s face — amid dozens of people getting out of the jail — cued up for the kid running to hug his dad.

Seiden described this as “a random act of kindness.” Here’s the thing. Those were not six random people.

The rappers walked into Rice Street with a list, said Tracey Flanagan, spokeswoman for the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office. At the top of the list was an accused murderer.

Adam Byrd is accused of murdering Dominic King in a hotel walkway on Fulton Industrial Boulevard in 2017. King’s murder was captured on surveillance video. Byrd has pleaded self-defense; King shoved him before being shot to death, but King was running away when Byrd opens fire on the video.

Byrd had served a sentence as a first-time offender as a 17-year-old, on aggravated assault and robbery charges for beating a man with crutches. Byrd had been caught and charged twice for being a felon in possession of a firearm between then and the 2017 murder case.

Byrd’s bond was set at $239,000. The court actually ordered Byrd’s bond revoked in February but the system somehow missed that revocation order.

Two days after Gunna and Young Thug bailed Byrd out, the court withdrew bond, declaring him a flight risk. Byrd is back in jail and awaiting trial later this year.

The others include people facing d*** possession and distribution charges, assault charges and burglary charges, all felonies.

So. What the hell was this stunt?"

I’m not even go lie, this situation is exposing how so many people don’t know the law or can’t think critically. Why mfs think the law was watching these niggas with binoculars catch them 50 bodies when it’s more likely someone been talking.

music industry legit one of the sleaziest entertainment industries out there which is really saying something. it's crazy how it's largely because they've managed to somehow stay unregulated too, even the film industry has had tons of legislature thrown its way because of similar s***

you should made an entire topic dedicated to music industry tbh :word:

The 50 bodies s*** is just a news story to push. There were only 3 murders listed in their indictment.

They haven’t released evidence with specific details of crimes yet so we don’t know if anyone is talking. Most of the evidence so far comes from recorded jail phone calls and social media.
