My girl was asking about the case so we watched the video last night (easier than explaining to her the entire history of everything between YFN and YSL) and we were both talking about how much we want to punch him in the face but also how in depth and informative it was lmao

They do have evidence for stuff like distributing meth and hydro so even if they can’t get the murder stuff to stick they can threaten some smaller fish into flipping. Even if thug beats the Rico case he’s doing time

The meth/hydro was adjudicated in 2018 and I think the weapons charge is up for appeal as recently as 2020

No way they tie all 50 of those murders to Thug.

We agree, they’re definitely banking on someone ratting. That’s weak lol…

I could even foresee one of the lower level members trying to take his charge

The way the RICO is designed, they identify leaders of a criminal enterprise, then they arrest all associates on racketeering charges plus any other discovered criminal activities.

Their goal is to end the criminal enterprise so the only fish that matter are who they identify as the leaders. They then cut deals and knock down sentences or if the evidence is extremely light, drop charges, on every single associate who is willing to flip on the leaders.

Thug being identified as a leader of the criminal enterprise basically means he’s a prime target of the investigation and they will be offering the rest of YSL reduced time or no time if they flip on him.

The law is literally designed to allow them to scare lower level associates with time they normally couldn’t be charged with, just to flip on the leaders of the gang.

Thug isn’t getting off with a plea deal here.

He'll probably get a plea deal. It costs alot of money for them take it to trial and they dont really want that.

They have so much evidence against Thug, I doubt he'll go to trial or else hes facing serious time cuz the DA wil give him the maximum sentence for these charges (35 years). Hes gonna try to get a plea deal.

It's in everyones best interest for him to take plea but the question is how much time is Thug willing to accept.

I say he gets 10-15 years. If the prosecutors offer a deal where he gets less than 10, then hes really lucky.

I really don’t see them giving Thug a deal here. This whole thing is designed to get him off the streets.

    No plea

    It’s boom or bust

Either he does significant time or the case unravels due to it being weak and Thug walks

    State needs someone to flip

That’s what I’ve taken from all this the last 48 hours

The actual evidence or lost of alleged crimes being tied back to him (individually) is goofy

How can you say the evidence is weak when you haven't seen it lol

yea hes really good at what he does

but also alot of this was out in the open. YFN Lucci and Thug move so reckless, they should've been got locked up.

Whenever you see a rapper or a group of rappers doing some really crazy s*** and they dont get arrested, then you know the RICO is coming.

Ex. 69 ordering a hit on Chief Keef and then he actually gets shot at. The fact no arrests were made should tell you oh yea they're letting them rock and building their case.

People are always wondering how DJ Akademics or Trap Lore Ross know so much. It's cause they take the time to do the research but these guys also make it so easy, especially with some of the s*** they post on social media.

Yeah that was done in poor taste. I wouldn’t wish death on anyone including Lucci

there's some other stuff i didn't share because of the embed limit, but the manager vs managing member distinction is actually pretty important here too.

Amina wasn't referenced in the actual original organization of the company, the actual original organizer was a business management outsourcing firm, and their label was distinct from organizer. Organizer was only used in reference to names that when I googled them, had direct relation to 300 - anyone else from an actual exterior firm was labeled "authorized signer" instead. So any person with any form of actual relation to the legal structure was connected to 300. Thug was labeled Manager, but documents indicated that the actual LLC members were hidden behind the layer of biz management firm. Had this been a Corporation, it would have been a lot easier to simply see actual implicative titles - but even then obv. stock ownership would matter more, but you could at least look at stock ifling documents. Here it was purpoesfully obscured, but in the very least there was the running implication through all of them Thug was never actually designated as an LLC member, only an operations manager

(i'll add an edit to the original post just to mention i left some stuff out because of embed limits)

the part where you’re wrong is when you assume that because he’s only listed as ‘Manager,’ that he’s not the owner or an owner.

there is no ‘Owner’ designation on LLC paperwork, only Members, Managers, and Managing Members, and while it can be tempting to dive into the distinctions there, they honestly don’t matter much since they’re just Day 1 designations really.

Real contractual agreements, likely unavailable to the public, will determine ownership structures and profit sharing and operations handling, and that will usually change over time. in fact, you’d hope it would bc you hope profit increases over time and investors generally get paid more upfront and decrease their ownership stake over time.

sorry to harp on this in this way, but I just don’t like ppl reading this and thinking Thug definitely getting screwed. just not true.
