Honestly cold showers have always been my go to after my trainings no matter the season. These past couple years I extended them to my daily routine meaning cold shower in the morning/at night no matter the season again and yeah that s*** is painful af I don't know what they're talking about there's no sense of "happiness" I take away from it just pure pain when you're still half asleep or getting ready to go to bed and cold water is running down your neck. I just stuck with it 'cause I know that my body is going to thank me for it in the long run that's basically it tbh
