Yeah but because of the pandemic, he’s pretty much lost that independent support he had (Which can be seen by even the right wing media saying he’s losing to Biden in their polls). He’s definitely handled the pandemic extremely poorly and the fact only the rich have done well under his stimulus proposal doesn’t help either. I kinda expected trump was going to wash Biden in these debates since Biden is such a push over but trump kind of ended up shooting himself in the foot with how unprofessional he came off as.
I’m not really sure if Biden would’ve handled it much better but the one thing I did notice during that covid debate was that Trump seemed to prioritize the stock market and rich corporations over the american people with his rhetoric. He kept saying Biden would’ve gotten more people killed but everything in his rhetoric there spelled out that he didn’t give a f*** about all the jobs lost (even shown when he went silent - a rare moment - when Biden brought up the fact he would be the first pres to leave office having lost jobs in the country) but that having the stock market going up was the end all be all.
But yeah it would’ve been interesting to see Biden address the “you ain’t black” remark. The super predator shot was pretty weak considering that was a term coined moreso by the clintons
Trump focusing on markets instead of unemployment was emblematic of his disconnect from the American people. The stock market is speculative and anticipatory in the best of times and now is only useful in gauging the success of the country's largest businesses. It doesn't register the permanent closings of your favorite mom and pop stores.
Trump knows he's going to lose, so he's sowing discord instead of saying anything of substance. Same as it ever was. If he gave a s***, he would at least recognize that there are families at home watching him, but he doesn't and never really has.
ngl watching this stoned was a movie lmao

He can't even say he denounces white supremacy
He denounces "any form of any of that"

White devils. Keep them away 🙅🏽♂️✝️
I cant see any voter taking in everything trump said in that debate and believe he is the answer. If you vote for him after that its either delusion or you havea problem yourself.
He believes the election is rigged already. He accepts racists to vote for him and energizes them. He'll attack his opponents family members at the drop of a hat. Getting into verbal arguments with a moderator who's bias was towards his own side.
The man saying he's the best president for black people ever, with the only exception MAYBE being Lincoln.
Like what a complete asshat. You did not watch that and think this child in a 70+ year old body and think thats a great choice. How can you

F*** PROUD BOYS
I feel like Trump's "trumpism" got the better of him in what could have been a p easy debate. I doubt he won over many independent voters but it doesn't feel like Biden actually "won" anything either.
Trump has numbers pre-pandemic on his side, the economy, stock market, unemployment, etc were all doing great. He should have focused more on that directly to the people instead of looking toward Biden. How Biden and the Dems didn't support the travel ban and how Biden's own close scientists downplayed the virus as well. Im sure Biden would have just said "well im not the person in office" but its not like he has an answer. On his racial sensitivity I was waiting for Trump to bring up the off color remark of "You Aint Black" how Biden is basically stereotyping black voters to fit a democrat mold and anyone who disagrees is insulted and ridiculed.
The bull in the china shop approach wasn't even needed.
Absolutely. I’ve been saying the white supremacist question could’ve been spun so hard in his favor lol.
Answer by saying you’ve always disavowed it (I refused endorsements of white supremacists in 2016). Then explain that the “very fine people” remark was fake news (attack Joe and the media simultaneously, while disproving a major low point in his presidency).
Talk about how you just announced your plan for black America that designates the KKK as a terrorist group (call out joe for not doing it in 47 years). Discuss how the plan increases funding by half a trillion in black communities and how you reversed the crime reform bill that Joe passed.
Then bring up that the plan also designated Antifa as a terrorist group. Claim that democrats won’t push through half a trillion to black voters because they don’t want to call Antifa terrorists and “lose the left”. Then demand that Biden disavow Antifa right on the spot.
That answer would’ve won the debate for Trump lmao. It would make democrats look uncaring and only political, would take a lot out of steam out of the white supremacist stuff, would highlight his plan for black America, and would force Joe to take a stance on Antifa.
But nah, he’s just gonna refuse to disavow white supremacists instead
You say that as I Proud Boys are a group created to promote violence against black people, which isn’t case.
