it's overcompressed. not much dynamics left, which is a shame for this kind of albums that are home-recorded and full of percussions. if the goal was to make it sound harsh and tinny then mission accomplished

idk broski maybe it’s cuz you’re prolly listening on better headphones than I am, but I didn’t have a problem with the overall mix and master.

while the dynamics could’ve been captured more pristinely and accurately in a high quality recording studio, i do think the almost Lo-fi wall of sound on some of the busier tracks was intentional. this is an ugly, animalistic album thematically and musically, and i believe the rough and tinny sound definitely serves to embellish that here.
