Patiently waiting for them to expand more on this. As the exploration video they previewed looked to have massive areas!
Eikon vs Typhoon/Titan/Titan Lost/Eikon of Fire/Odin/Bahamut & Infernal Fire gameplay

Here's some camera footage of Yoshi playing the game!
Music is so f***ing good! Even shows off the world map.
i went from being OD hyped to being skeptical and having some doubts to being fully in again, this game bouta be incredible

A little disappointed that the developers didn’t use the classic Amano design for Typhon but I guess it would look too cartoonish compared to the other eikons (assuming it is one as well).

Same here, really liked what they showed today
Eikon vs Typhoon/Titan/Titan Lost/Eikon of Fire/Odin/Bahamut & Infernal Fire gameplay
Didn't realise till now it has the Ifrit v Ifrit battle in there. One with long white hair
Yoshi spoke about those old relic from an ancient civilisation which they call “The Fallen”
Clive even battles some Fallen Soldier. The relic buildings seem to be across the entire game 🤔

16's version looks like Lifeform Hojo

Very iffy in regards to how they're handling difficulty. You can make the game easier by equipping accessories that automate much of the combat gameplay?
They didn't really mention accessories aside from those. They just said if you want to challenge yourself then don't equip the "timely" accessories
We can see 3 categories of accessories in the gear menu tho so I'm guessing we will have standard accessories that up stats or grant abilities.
Combat didn't seem hard without the timely s*** so I feel like the whole is gonna be a walk in the park if you forgo the timely s*** and slap on some real accessories to boost your damage and abilities.

They showed a menu screen where you can buy accessories and it looks like the accessories are the "Reduce X skill by Y seconds" kind.
I don't really mind the inclusion of these accessories, it sounds like they made these cause they were really concerned with people that only play turn based RPGs. If anything, fights will probably just take longer if you plan on using these accessories because you will be doing lower damage by not being able to utilise the other accessories.
That being said, from playing FFXIV (and assuming Yoshida approaches FFXVI in a similar manner) I expect the game to be a walk in the park as you just said. You can tell how much Yoshida values accessibility by playing that game, casual players are almost never challenged and a lot of the changes they make in the game usually lowers the skill floor without regard to how it may impact the skill ceiling (usually lowering it in the process)
The high difficulty content is really challenging though so hopefully
that is the same here. I think they mentioned boss fights having different mechanics and you not being able to equip those accessibility accessories.

The high difficulty s*** in FFXIV is some of the hardest s*** I've played.
