My whole existence is almost assimilated into FFXIV. I am addicted and i dont think i will leave any time soon. Endwalker coming up and i am just farming extreme trials even though i have the mount already. I just love the gameplay. Savage stuff is still too hard though... dont have a static yet but the FC is organising stuff. GLAM IS LIFE. I thought i lost my love for fashion but here i can just go crazy... and i mostly only play monk. I still have so many classes to play. FF is the only game i need for the nexte 10 years. I feel it.

Anyone playing without G-Shade ? I believe its the greatest mod for the game imo. Even to just putting on the vibrance on the game makes the game look 10x times better but i played through most of the game without it and the game was still beautiful to me but now i can't live without it. I just make sure my graphics card doesnt cry so much using the more advanced stuff...

i def recommend it as well. game looks great, even with some very minor presets. i just wanted something that didn't affect the look significantly; really just wanted a bit better saturation lol. i believe one of the shadowbringers presets it comes with works really well for what i wanted. can't think of the one i use atm though.

Wow man its like a second life at this point. Man ... i am scared...yesterday was the first time i mostly chilled at limsa.
Idk why but its just cool to hang out with randoms...Like you just can do "nothing" and be happy. I am tempted to try the clubbing one day... I don't want to NoLife this game but i just getting sucked into it....

I hope to find some friends. I mostly play solo, joined an FC recently and its fun but I haven't clicked with anybody there yet. I hope that changes with the onslaught of people coming, in the next few weeks.

You should definitely use it. It will change your whole experience and It shows how much the game suffers from the PS4 compatability, this game only with a little tweaks can be already a next gen game. With enhanced physics and more added character motions, this game will literally be one of the greatest MMO yet on graphics and technology. FF16 is on the same engine apparently and that lets you know how much more they could do.

Tbh, a lot of those hours are ACTUALLY just idling around or being afk (especially since when im working from home I leave this s*** running in the background to talk to people)

Just chilling and talking to people definitely one of the coolest things about this game, you’re never forced to go out and grind some s*** you don’t wanna do

I actually use xivlauncher and its goat. Easy 2FA login and patches are actually downloaded quicker since the normal client limits your download speed I believe
