Prosecutors asked this after showing a text Jason Smith sent to Lil Durk of a IG post of the TMZ story of Quando Rondo’s Escalade being shot.

“I’m dead inside.” Was a text shown in court today Lil Durk sent after the shooting death of King Von.

Text were shown today going as far back as 2020.

“IK, I see it in your face,” was a text sent to Lil Durk.

In clear HD quality footage shown today in court.

King Von and crew walk over to Quando Rondo and a fight breaks out.

On the right hand side of a vehicle Timothy Leeks (Lul Timm) is seeing shooting King Von while he is fighting Quando Rondo on the ground.

Detective: Mr. Banks is shooting at an individual that oddly looks like Mr. Bowman. He stalks and shoots him multiple times.

Steel: I’m going to object to the word oddly

Judge Fitzgerald: It’s striked

Steel on cross: He (Rondo) was laughing at Bennett’s death. He anointed Lul Timm, King Timm, and he put that on social media. But Mr. Banks did not do this after the death of Mr. Robinson.

Detective: No

Steel: This was a fist fight. A melee. And he (Lul Timm) is not involved in the fight. He pulls out a semi automatic hand gun and Bennett lays on the street helpless. Rondo drags his body like trash. He carries him (King Von) like a piece of trash.

Steel: When was there ever self defense of Mr. Leeks or defense of others ?

Detective: Individuals can be worried about their safety.

Steel: You know Lil Durk is an artist, correct. Artist connect with words. They paint pictures with lyrics. It’s an expression of art. You don’t like expression of art ?

Detective: I didn’t say that.

Steel: After the brutal murder. People who love that person get really hurt. Their entire being. Durk was hurt. They (King Von) did music together, right ?

Detective: Yes

Steel: You are taking people’s raw opinions and turning it into your narrative.

Steel: People are grief stricken and sad they may say something. Is that true ?

Steel then asked why Leeks’ charges were dismissed for shooting King Von.

Detective said he believes it was “self defense.”

Later, Steel made things emotional. He stated he hoped he was not making things “personal,” but asked if people feel grief when losing someone close to them.

Detective said solemnly, “yes.”

Prosecutors and the FBI agent read text this morning from David Saulsberry (Doodie Lo) and Lil Durk from 2020 after the shooting death of King Von.

Saulsberry: “Keep yo head up. I know your pain. I’m with u, drilling about this sh*t.”

Banks: “I love you back slap”

FBI Agent used Cellebrite to retrieve text messages shown in court of Lil Durk going back to 2020.

Prosecutors also showed a group text in 2023 that included Lil Durk, OTF Dede, and OTF Boonie Moe.

Judge Fitzgerald DENIED the defense motion to limit questioning ahead of OTF Jam’s testimony.

Prosecutors are expected to use Jam’s testimony to argue that Lil Durk was a gang leader and allegedly paid for Airbnbs + flights on multiple occasions for OTF members and alleged Black Disciples associates to travel to Atlanta looking for Quando Rondo allegedly to “slide for Von".
