to me King Von is the perfect encapsulation of how poverty and violence mold some of the most hurt people in our community. I also this makes his story A Great Tragedy for everyone involved
Von baby mother who is in the military said he could have been a cadet. He had inherent malevolent tendencies.
At the end of the day,
if you are born into a life of adverse poverty and circumstance, while that sucks, life isn't fair. You can't just lean into a life of crime and murder because you were born in a s***ty environment. Life don't work like that.
Niggas talking bout “antidotal experiences” and calling people uncle ruckus for saying the most basic s***

They need to drop a documentary because I would never expect people on here to call these humans evil without seeing their origin story
They call a spoiler on game of thrones final episode
But when they see a nigga as a serial killer they think it’s in his DNA
They do it for all terrorism
Without looking at sources which is what every single non violence organization I’ve worked for has challenged us to do
Nigga have you worked with youth criminals?
I have
I was a DSO. I worked in juvenile halls every day with these young niggas. My mom and dad did the same.
They are not sympathetic figures.
I've seen it all. I went to school in the jungles nigga I have homies doing 40 years lol
And you a b****, p****
I'm not just talking I seen the s*** first hand
People who work in prison be some of the worst people personally. Like I respect a lot of the work that staff doing presents, but when they go home, they are consistently some of the s***tiest people I’ve dealt with.
Is the sixth grade who worked at the juvenile hall and always criminals and say that we will all end up in jail. Maybe you’ve just become disillusioned with how people can improve in certain conditions.
Can't cosign dat brother but I understand where u coming from. You gotta remember a lot of them lil niggas got behavioral, undiagnosed mental health, and now addiction issues.
My own personal opinion is that....everyone can't be saved.
Everyone can't go tbh
you can't save everyone and if a nigga's mental health is so f***ed that it's motivating them to kill someone's child, someone's father, etc. then they're better off not in society. They do not positively contribute to society and as a result they should be behind bars

Yeah, King Von would’ve definitely killed 1 million people in Iraq or Afghanistan. Lmao He shouldve been into more productive things than Killing Folks or helping others kill folk

A lot of niggas really don't work hand in hand with these young niggas and it shows.
Idk dawg, when you see how gang violence impacts and terrorizes the innocent, and how destructive it can be...yeah I don't really have sympathy for it I'm sorry.

Yes I have and I volunteer outside the jail to currently drive people home . I created gun violence awareness day
I met with gang members then about their lives and have since 2013
When I say this is bad for Chicago it’s no joke
You wishing it on Drake is disturbing and pathetic

I mean, in every environment there’s people with actual violence tendencies. If he was raised in the suburbs, he probably would have joined the army. I dont think he’s a 100% product of his environment because he seemed to be really gleeful about killing. On the other hand, i dont know what trauma he was carrying as a child.

but that’s the problem is that you want to put them behind bars instead of getting them legitimate help.
You think that pushing niggas into prison is going to help society when it really causes an adverse effect to an entire community it devastates populations
Nigga I been to drive bys at a funeral home where the police knew it was coming and they were terrified
They were so terrified that they thought first responders would get shot too
20 years if someone gets hurt
life if somebody dies
Since Lul Pab died, Durk will most likely do life if found guilty
so he's done
dam he really bout dat
not one of them p**** niggas that do 3 months for album promo
Damn if he’s getting snitched on and they find other murders, he could very well get life in prison bruh goddamn

I wasn't there long because it truly does weigh on you emotionally for sure. It takes a toll
I just simply think people, young niggas, whatever, when you start robbing and killing putting other people's lives in danger, you gotta be locked up bro.
Can't cosign dat brother but I understand where u coming from. You gotta remember a lot of them lil niggas got behavioral, undiagnosed mental health, and now addiction issues.
He don’t care they aren’t human to them
Aight by your logic it’s in black people DNA
Because you don’t want to acknowledge the wealth disparity or anything else that got them there
What you are describing is racism
Idk I feel like saying kids in Juvenile detention are not sympathetic figures is straight up wrong.
Like I can see where you’re coming from but a lot of these kids were failed at every angle by all the adults around them and are dealing with lots of pain and undiagnosed mental health issues

I listened to King Von a lot, especially when I started doing more criminal justice classes in undergrad. He constantly talks about the trauma of his aunties and uncles being junkies, seeing people get shot around him and living on section 8.
His life was f***ing terrible, There is no other way to put it. His parental figures were either locked up, On d****, violent and/or abusive. He maybe even got touched.
