Why do you guys either misquote or leave out parts of a quote to make up or further a false narrative? Do you hate him that much?

Lupe was vocal about Palestine over a decade ago before anyone else was on it. And has dropped 2 classics since lasers

I already know that lol so nothing new

There's been rumours about his stance change on here and twitter. That there was a live stream where he was siding with Israel which is why I'm saying it's weird now but I haven't seen the stream itself

It's just the same classic misquoting or misunderstanding, people add or remove words to everything he says and use that to form a narrative, same as the Kendrick, A.I. and reasonable doubt conversations.

Meanwhile he's promoting progressive, Pro Palestianian journalist Mehdi Hassan videos, but we should believe guys that hate him with no evidence?

I mean I'm hoping it's not but seeing the same specific thing on different platforms from people who appear to be former fans is raising an eyebrow

    Is it completely made up?

We know Lupe has a little contrarian in him so I didn't immediately rule out a random turn on Palestine now that it's a more socially acceptable cause to support 😩

Lupe and Jay Electronica were suppose to and could have been what Kendrick is and did

Tbh no they couldn’t have been

Jay electronics is a corny NOI with really harmful views who doesn’t have any commercial sensibilities and makes layered esoteric raps that r mainly religiously motivated, but his good stuff is still like incredibly weird and underground

Lupe has also always been in the more esoteric conscious realm and while he has some commercial records his commercial sensibility couldn’t translate to the 2010s and it doesn’t seem he’s very interested in it, he can’t engage in the street side in his music in the way Kendrick does and has always been more of a early Kanye in terms of his disposition to that. When he does make great projects it’s when he abandons all commercial sensibility and just locks in on being complex about abstract ideas and history with a global focus, even on food and liquor right like his main criticism was hooks and beats and a lot of the commercial ones we’re very pop in terms of literal pop music or drawing from global music like American terrorist

Kendrick while also conscious lyrical and layered has always had way more relatability, commercial sensibility, comes from a more easy to digest reasonable place, is way more personal generally and like emotional, is less rooted in NOI 5%er s*** and is generally jsut great at hooks, beats, melodies.

Those two guys are known for great statements and showcases to a niche outside the cool and F&L, Kendrick is generally known for not only that but being great at making SONGS.

Yes 100% made up. I mentioned many different scenarios above where people misquote and/or misunderstand the things he says and run with a false narrative (Obama, Kendrick, using A.I., buying or preserving reasonable doubt, 808s history, "culturally Japanese", israel/Palestine, vaccines etc.)

People have a clear documented history on twitter and youtube of literally having the wrong idea of what he believes, even when there is proof in video, audio or text form to the contrary. He even comes on a clubhouse, twitter or IG live to elaborate further and people still run with same false narrative.

He has many views that align with the majority so he is not a contrarian that's another false narrative. He often speaks and explains things in a particular way and people get upset or accusing him of being condescending or he gives differing views based on facts, metrics and history and people call him contrarian for it. It's very silly and even more silly to think he'd U-turn on something that defies his own character, politics and sense of morality, with zero proof.
