  • both great songs i prefer FM musically but no denying MTG is devastating

  • cant be understated how bad family matters really is

  • family matters is a f***ing hilarious song all things considered, so many quotables. hate that 1st beat/section though wish he just went 2nd beat first and switched into 3rd

  • sherm burned several lines into my brain with his first page posting lines from this.... BUT WAIT, MAYBE IM PRINCE AND YOU ACTUALLY MIKE

  • remembering the beef today has me thinking back to so many random things like wasn’t there a guy who swore he was in possession of all the items on the MTG cover

It’s different enough. I feel like even musically and flow wise Kendrick was leaning into a pusha vibe and I didn’t love that

ah so it's ok for one person to do it but not the other

    got it

They'll be talking about it in 2 weeks when Iceman drops anyway

  • When Iceman comes and breaks streaming and outsells GNX and breaks tour numbers and UMG finally bend their knees then people will realize Drake won!!!!

big dawg you're saying no one knows the song that has more streams than FM

same dude who said he was throwing bands at the club while FM was playing btw

  • listening back meet the grahams is genuinely the cringest diss track ever released. the fact it got notoriety is insane to me.

    family matters clears for sure

This beef really did irreversible damage to online hip hop discourse but this really was one of the best days in hip hop history

It’d be cool to hear Kendrick talk about his thought process during this beef but I REALLY wanna hear Drake thought process. Mainly cause I know he thought it was 0% chance he would lose. I need to hear his game plan/mindset through this

Man imagine an unbiased documentary with live reaction footage of them listening to each other's disses and some recording videos

Him lying about the drake daughter thing no joke lost some points for me

Did Drake tell a single truth about Kendrick in Family Matters

Other than him opening his mouth and winning a Grammy

Wouldn’t surprise me if there’s some footage somewhere. I think Drake tried to shrug it off after MTG but after they not like us and seeing the immediate reactions of people playing in the club like 2 hours later, that’s when he prolly felt defeated

Meet The Grahams one of the most brutal beatdowns in rap ever. Just absolutely brutal and hard hitting from beginning to end

I thought I made it clear my issue is more a stylistic one than a moral one. To me, biting the cadence of the person who previously beat your opponent is worse than questionable accusations

When I say Meet the Grahams tried to recreate Adidon I’m not even just talking the angles, it’s really the whole beat choice and the whole flow
