Anyone watched Da 5 Bloods yet?
Attempted it, wasn't for me
Maybe if they hired young actors for the flashbacks it would be ok, but it felt like an even more re tarded Irishman as far as the viewers having to pretend these aren't geezers trying to act half their age
I peeped that McCabe and Mrs. Miller last night, wouldn't say its my fav western but this mon's coat game was something serious :datass:
Altman’s the man.
Check out California split if you haven’t seen it.

That what I told him to watch, can't imagine him not digging the nü hollywood seediness of it
I liked it, was a lot better than I was expecting it to be. Smith and Lawrence still have that chemistry, but the ensemble wound up stealing film - so a bit excited for the next one
Facts with Will and Martin. Martin Lawrence was great.
Overall I wasn’t a fan of the 3rd one :(
Peep snap
damn, what is the one with the butterfly called?
i was listening to that Neil last night
could pass on the beach as my fav
so I know nobody's wondering but
this has been my life lately:
really wanted to have this job opportunity
pass the test real good
I've been really great at job interviews but
I was kinda sick on this job's interview day
sucked, really sucked @ this interview
the result comes next tuesday
feel like living thru hell these days
this but make it covid

I remember reading a bit of your arthouse thread a while back. Sort of agree, but I feel that way about films as a whole. Took like six months between each theater trip past two years. So Bad Boys was most recent, then Midsommar before that, and Phantom Thread. Outside of one film Khalik Allah was presenting person, but was for AFI fest

A Passing Fancy self titled, looks promising but I don't even remember ordering it tbh. Gonna be a mysterious blind listen now
And the version of Everybody Knows on my iTunes is the shiddy 80s remaster in 128kbps cause I added it in like 2003
need the remaster of my goat song in lossless :button:
On The Beach more consistent but yeah nothing touching Cowgirl, River, Cinnamon, title track
and his interplay with Danny

Tbh I havent been able to get into Altman that much, weird cause on paper dude seems right up my alley :mystery: I think a major turnoff for me is his overlapping dialogue.
Yo Altman actually looks like The Iceman Richard Kuklinski

The dialogue thing is his trademark and definitely takes a while to get used to
Pretty magical when he nails it

Sony should take Your line of thinking and just give the young cops a show
