Man the Midwife album is so beautiful but it just loses me every time with that long track with the spoken word stuff at the start.

I get why it's there but i don't think it adds anything and I just I wanna chuck an album like that on and melt into it, and that bit throws me off every time

Same, I still prefer her previous works. "Forever", the song still the peak and Song For an Unborn Sun her best album

Never played it. But it's a complete remake so there shouldn't be any clunkiness.
