Ive been wanting to listen to his stuff before Come Over When You're Sober 1 & 2 myself... That's where his library starts on Apple Music and im too lazy to go download the older ones and transfer them to my phone library
Didnt care much for him at all a couple years ago when i first listened, and couldnt see what deadpeg loved so much about him. But several months ago i began getting a couple of his singles' hooks/melodies stuck in my head, and i've slowly started to work those 2 albums into my regular daily playlist shuffle
Same actually. I only knew a couple songs and I didn't really like them (that Life is Beautiful remix being especially popular in my circles. tbh I'm also not that big of a Star Shopping fan even though it's his most beloved song.) but his "early" discography really shows imo how he was able to create complex, catchy and touching melodies, which utter plenty of emotion in 2 minute songs. Like he might have stuck to a relatively conventional song structure but with so many interesting twists and turns in almost every verse. Let alone his charisma and one of the best takes on fusing rock and rap I've heard. His lyrics also can hit deeply. Especially Another Song gets me.
I haven't listened to those albums yet but I'm getting there (I do know a few singles like Benz Truck tho). I'm still stuck on Part One, California Girls, Hellboy, Castles 1 & 2, Live Forever and Feelz.

damn you’ll prolly like his early stuff way better. he’s got a bunch of EPs and collabs with Tracy from back then, but the full length tapes are Lil Peep Part 1, Crybaby, and Hellboy. all three of them blow COWYSPT2 out the water, but the first part will prolly always be my fav Peep project. I’m a post you a couple songs to check
where would you put Diamonds in Peep's discography?
So far I think that I'm somewhat in the "too much Ilovemakonnen"-camp. He's not terrible on everything but there are multiple moments where I'm longing for Peep to come in and he's just a hook guy but absolutely outclassing him. Overall, I do like it tho and want to hear the finished release.

I feel like rewatching Unforgiven. I just bought the KL release for Fistful so I’ll probably watch that and Bone Tomahawk first
I just revisited Unforgiven for the first time in probably a decade... in HD for the first time...
it was hard
Man what.. broski the first had some real creepy moments and that OST was
like this woman looks f***ing evil
Unforgiven was the perfect western for Clint to make.. And that double headed
I need one more western from Clint
His last film should be one tbh
Mans dropped Jersey Boys and American Sniper in one year
Then four years later did it again with 15:17 and The Mule

I don't know why I have zero urge to watch any of these

I love the Four Season so I should probably check out Jersey Boys. Doubt whoever is playing Valli does a better Sherry than me tho

Idk if he would want but he can easily pull it off today. Mon's work ethic is someone who loves making movies even in his senior years.

The main cast is played by the same performers from the broadway show, and the dude playing valli f***ing KILLS that s*** tbh

My dad kept haranguing me to watch it as well. Been fully sleep on Clint this decade. Isn't American Sniper bullshit?
@drjdeponytail - Have you ever seen Bogdanovich's film The Thing Called Love (1993)? Don't know why I randomly thought about it just now, but I think you'd dig it if you havent seen yet

Dead serious i literally didnt even notice it when i first watched, i was so caught up in the emotions creeping through the scene. I didnt even know the fake baby thing was a meme until i finished the film and saw people on LB mentioning it haha.
Still seems like its blown way outta proportion tho

Ive heard Invictus is like uncharacteristically bland, even from big Clint stans. Not really looking forward to that one haha
I liked Hereafter tho. Havent seen J. Edgar yet
