back when country was the white man’s blues :datass:

broski what year was this meant to take place in, like the 20's or 30's ? I know the grandfather mentioned riding a mule back in 1885 or something like that.

I’d say early-mid ‘30s
Forgot how nice it was to count these lists with a clear mind. Doing back to back to back lists was grueling even though there were a few months between them. Something calming about knowing this is the list to end all lists.
Also thanks to everybody who voted (which was almost everybody and hopefully 1 more). I wanted to make this final list as curated to our little family here as possible and it would have been difficult to do that on this site considering every thread shows up in the main feed (gonna be some weirdos to deal with when I make the results thread).
hell yeah thanks for putting it together G
If y’all want alts, now is the time to make them

The Omen remake isn't actually that bad tbh.

I don't imagine ppl would be necessarily up to do this, but it'd be kinda cool if the top voter of each album in the top 10 wrote a little blurb about why they liked that album.

Can't wait to see 8 people each talk about Yeezus and MBDTF

Might work better for top 5 or 3 instead of 10 cause of that haha, but the idea sounds like something i'd be down for and would like to see others do too

where would you put Diamonds in Peep's discography?
So far I think that I'm somewhat in the "too much Ilovemakonnen"-camp. He's not terrible on everything but there are multiple moments where I'm longing for Peep to come in and he's just a hook guy but absolutely outclassing him. Overall, I do like it tho and want to hear the finished release.

I don't feel like spoiling the top 10 by specifically asking for a blurb for each high album

Ohhh i misread arel's post haha. I thought they suggested each person make a comment on why they chose the top 10/5/3 albums in their own lists.

same. That would be fun.

I won't personally be participating but if you want to exercise your writing, by all means

Ive been wanting to listen to his stuff before Come Over When You're Sober 1 & 2 myself... That's where his library starts on Apple Music and im too lazy to go download the older ones and transfer them to my phone library
Didnt care much for him at all a couple years ago when i first listened, and couldnt see what deadpeg loved so much about him. But several months ago i began getting a couple of his singles' hooks/melodies stuck in my head, and i've slowly started to work those 2 albums into my regular daily playlist shuffle
same. That would be fun.
Yeah i was down haha
