Nobody touching Wu 93-00. But they are and will most likely be the closest. Your top 3 of theirs?

    For me:

    1. FLYGOD/FLYGOD is an Awesome God
    2. Tana Talk 3
    3. The Plugs I Met/HWH7/HWH4/Reject 2/Don't Get Scared Now

    Can't decide that last slot

    Make a list m8

Yea but just dont think about it, it'll be fun. The difference of scoring for 31-50 are minimal between eachother. Only the top 20 really matters. Do what ponytsil is doing and do a top 20 and rank the other 30 loosely

@Elric btw what is your, and the thread's, opinion on Pray 4 Paris?

listened for the first time today (first time listening to one of their whole projects) and was left kinda meh tbh. the beats were pretty nice but the rapping did not do it all for me. his voice was fine so thats not the part that bothered me. he says "ayo" so much its f***ing annoying

    going to listen more

I like both bands, I just don't get the hate for Tame other than them being hyped up a lot by annoying people.

django django another band doing that style better than tame

I don't care, I like a decent amount of their songs. I don't care about what style or role they are filling. 90% of the artists or directors people dislike in this thread, I find something to at least like about them.

    you forgot Home.Run.

sheeeet i did, that would def crack the top 50 been a while since i spun it

@Koala that album just still goes, dont think they were ever gonna top that one. the pv stuff before it was amazing too but that album is special

@Lawdie yeah when ye and ksg dropped i wasnt posting much and for once for a release was out of the ye hypemachine. it was between that and pablo tbh for this one, it was tough. definitely opened itself up to me heavy. peak kanye duality boiled down to its essentials. super simplistic, immediate and nothing but the man himself. ghost town and the original version of i thought about killing you top 5 ye

Terrible point to jump in. I mean it really pays off to see them come so far. I can see how jarring it is for you. I would recommend FlyGOD is an Awesome God for first listeners its shorter and more to the point. Hitler Wears Hermes 7 or FLYGOD works too. This being your first listen makes a lot of their references and lore go over your head. He was kinda forced to rap and used Ghostface as his medium/reference to express his story.

The "Ayo" really doesn't matter to me because he sounds like someone on my block. It doesn't phase me. I barely notice. Literally heard this in my everyday life for 20+ years, not just music.

If you are interested in other members try Tana Talk 3 or The Plugs I Met or LULU next

Although it is kinda pitiful how AJ never redeems himself at all. But he is meant to be the spoiled prince
