Yeah I'm fully back on the Stankonia Express way stronger than anything before it, including Aquemini, which imo has a number of more noticeable holes/missteps. Stankonia is stylistically and musically greater, has equal.. actually, higher highs than Aquemini and is a rare rap album where the skits feel well sequenced and entertaining (Aquemini suffers from boring skits and pacing). May have to push this into my top 20 at my final edit.

I’m still on Aquemini but Stankonia was really a game changer and one hellova ambitious album especially for a mainstream group. Best rap album of the 00’s imo
