yeah for sure still a pretty great album. but i think of his last 3 its the one that benefits the most by cutting like a dozen songs. had the potential to be the strongest thematically at least but that got diluted too much
Agree 100%
F*** it I just spent an arm and a leg to get Mint Original Sin vinyl on discogs. Life's too short to not splurge stupidly sometimes and it's one of my top 5 albums ever.
F*** it just spent another 70 on Geek the Girl 30th anniversary vinyl.

been lowkey considering doing like this to order some fire albums shipped from south america that are nearly impossible to get in usa
gf wants to watch it and I have to capitulate occasionally
I watched the whole thing because my girlfriend liked it. I thought it was alright to start with but by the end I was just using that half hour to zone out and stare into the void.
Although as a Ted Lasso fan I'm sure you'll find something to enjoy in the "shmaltz in lieu of humour" approach of it
It's like if Arrested Development focused on the family living in the model home and had a community around it
I guess in terms of subject matter this is true but that's where the similarities end. Arrested Development is actually funny. It has jokes!
First song goes hard
Sounds like Phil Spector producing Sisters Of Mercy lol
Jim Steinman actually produced The Sisters Of Mercy's second album Floodland and it's bonkers. This Corrosion, Dominion, Lucretia My Reflection etc. are all super bombastic with waves of choirs.

One of my fav album covers :datass:
so stylish

I don’t even have a record player but some vinyl records look so good they would make a great conversation piece

Yeah I know Foodland well and that explains it lol. Guess I didn't register that Steinman produced it or maybe I just didn't know who he was when I got into Sisters.

Didn't like anything on Floodland as much as these though
One of those band's whose most essential album is a comp.

Gob alone clears this show humour wise
Peak modern Clint after Unforgiven
probably but I still think Clint applying chapstick in the middle of a shootout in The Mule was the best moment of his late late career stuff lol

I gotta see this one again, loved it in the theater when it dropped
