rviyeah for sure still a pretty great album. but i think of his last 3 its the one that benefits the most by cutting like a dozen songs. had the potential to be the strongest thematically at least but that got diluted too much

I watched the whole thing because my girlfriend liked it. I thought it was alright to start with but by the end I was just using that half hour to zone out and stare into the void.
Although as a Ted Lasso fan I'm sure you'll find something to enjoy in the "shmaltz in lieu of humour" approach of it

I guess in terms of subject matter this is true but that's where the similarities end. Arrested Development is actually funny. It has jokes!

Jim Steinman actually produced The Sisters Of Mercy's second album Floodland and it's bonkers. This Corrosion, Dominion, Lucretia My Reflection etc. are all super bombastic with waves of choirs.

Yeah I know Foodland well and that explains it lol. Guess I didn't register that Steinman produced it or maybe I just didn't know who he was when I got into Sisters.
