Ray Davies him Neil and Dylan are my top 3 oat and still going strong

    Roger McGuinn
    Mick and Keith
    Towshend and Daltry
    Paul and Ringo
    Grace and Jorma
    Graham Nash
    Simon & Garfunkel
    Diana and Martha
    Eric Burdon and Alan Price
    Van Morrison
    Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone
    Sal Valentino and Ron Elliot
    Paul Samwell Smith and Clapton
    Cale and Moe
    Joni Mitchell
    Krieger and Densmore
    Waters and Gilmore etc
    Mick Fleetwood and John McVie
    Iggy

He was still very much a part of the '60s

Definitely Screamin' Jay Hawkins (I Put A Spell On You) for starting Goth but could be an influence considering the dark choirs that came later. Idk about Psych but it's def trippy. Psych is more similar to Raga tbf

That's what I'm specifically against giving credit to the actual innovators and not just claiming beedles invented everything

Well I'm not saying their claim for those is near as solid as their claim to inventing psych but I can hear the first seeds getting planted. I know you know Beck elevated the textural/soundscape potential of guitar.

I'd say they're are at least like 5 strains of psych and raga is just one of them. There's also the space rock version (Yardbirds invented) the jazz rock version (Byrds invented) the childlike nostalgia version (Kinks) and the straight up lysergic version (Elevators). Beedles can gave raga version.
