@Elric I might as well just add all the albums that are on the playlist
thing is about a third of the playlist are singles, gems from the vault, live renditions etc. thats why it requires making a playlist for people like him cause the albums dont cover all the best stuff.

just 5 days before he passed. I shouldn't dwell but I was curious when he last was seen in here. RIP again to a legend

I wish i could say i started on his DoD and went backwards but for some reason I started in like March and went forwards. I thought he hadn't posted for longer so didn't expect to see something in August
Just finished The Time to Live and the Time to Die (finally). Def one of the most sincere films I've seen about death in a long time. Very humanist film with a lot of poetry in it.
What this film taught me is that life is suffering but it get's better with time. Between family and friends I've lost probably 5 or 6 people in the last couple years. When I was younger I thought that wouldn't happen until I was at least in my 40s. That unpredictable cruelty of the world sort of forces you to grow up far before you'd like to.
damn
damn
digging up old posts haha? I don't rememer writing this and cringe reading things I've written in the past. But this film
Not looking for pity but it's crazy how many several friends I've lost to suicide or fentanyl overdose since that post was written. So that hits even harder to be honest.
gonna end up my sobriety for a night and pour a few glasses of whiskey for our boy ATL after work.

anyone remember that ATL plug classic of the fan made Bob Dylan music video? anyone even know what I'm talking about lol?

I should rewatch. It's almost been a decade and I've definitely experienced some loss since then.
I agreed to coffee with a friend I haven't seen in a couple years but I lowkey don't want to 'cause we were only really friends during a super s***ty time in my life. And that may sound f***ed up to dismiss someone cause I met her at a bad time, but there was another mutual we had that I completely cut off for very good reasons and this friend implicated I gave up on her. Like, f*** off. Ugh. To top it off, she also accused me of making transphobic comments because of a civil discussion we had on gender dysphoria
like if you think I'm transphobic, why reach out to me again at all? 2018-19 was a total s***storm for me, and she is one of the people that entered my life at the time, and honestly her reaching out just brings back memories of all the s*** and s*** people from that era. Considering calling our catch-up off.
You overthinking it man just go with the flow and have a little chat. Resist the call of
your lonesome prairie solitude.

I bought this feathers mcgraw toy about a month ago for a secret santa thing just cause I thought it was funny, but I've had it sat around the flat for a month now and grown to love it. Went to wrap it up this evening but can't bring myself to do it
