I actually didn’t start watching the NBA til the next season crazy that they were so close to going up 2-0 in that series though. Who knows how things would’ve played out then.

Yeah, but it was a c*** move considering she was blacklisted immediately, and the stunt completely ruined her career.

And of course she ended up being right about the pope being an evil architect of child rape. Madonna was just piling on her like the rest of the media at the time.

Not as bad as Joe Pesci though, who did the monologue the next week, taped the picture back up, and said he would have beaten her if he was there when she did it

Love a good underdog story but I think that LA team was too good to ever lose that series in any scenario

ike a new Star wars movie but instead of referencing old star wars movies it wholesale lifts from Murrnau and Wong and Laughton etc. Call it art slop. If slop is what cinema is in 2024 I will take this slop over the manchild slop for sure. Maybe slop is all we get nowadays. Maybe the cinema was slop all along. God level s***.
