30th anniversary for Violator was today
next for me is Five Easy Pieces, then Manchurian Candidate
the dude released 3 of his best albums for free in one year.. crazy.. not to mention the pics that went along with the songs to set the mood.
Weeknd going commercial was the next logical step and im glad how much success followed him.. I definitely enjoy his work more than Frank Ocean :mm:
It was the next step mostly cause Kiss Land didn’t help him at all financially
what limit is this? i can put as much as i want on there
You can have 10000 songs + albums "liked" on there. I'm getting around it at the moment by just adding new stuff to playlists instead of "liking"
K rise I'm listening to my whole library on random right now for the first time ever and it's pretty cool tbh
Hm, me and Rise the only ones who do this consistently?
House of Balloons is definitely a classic. As for Frank I wouldn't call it a shot since I never really cared for him I just enjoy The Weeknd more. I remembered both of them buzzing around the same time.
Now if were talking musical talent neither of them are touching D'Angelo :mm:
Cuz you guys didn't buy Kiss Land you mean?
KL needs to be respected

Thread always gives me s*** for shuffling entire library. It's my own f***ing radio
Let’s say every torrent site goes down
You’re gonna buy every new piece of music?
Buying music isn't that big of a deal in the end. I think you're still in school/college right? I get that you dont have much disposable cash rn but once you're in full time work you'll probably find that it isn't a particular stretch to buy a few new albums a month. Granted I'd be pretty compromised if I hadn't spent my teenage years compiling a back catalogue of older albums and was now faced with having to buy all those too, but these days 95% of my new discoveries are new releases. So, yeah, I just buy everything now.

Only if you but the week of release or decades after. Remember when CDs used to be $15-$20 after week1?
I always display whatever the latest discography with a new addition is.. still haven't listened to Boatmans Call yet :ohno:
Seething that I didn't start copping physicals till Good Son cause Your Funeral My Trial remains my fave
all I got is Firstborn is Dead and Murder Ballads on wax. I used to have Henry’s Dream and Abbatoir Blues.
