Revisiting the Portishead self titled. Sometimes this is my favorite. It’s so overwhelmingly dark and atmospheric.
One of the funniest things I remember seeing on here was when @Elric posted a picture of a manky underwater skeleton covered in barnacles because ATL was talking about Jeff Buckley too much. Just so f***ing unnecessary
i remember this lmao
Versetti on VB’s drunken gambling and losing over 10k dollars: “wow dis guy a moron lel”
he wasn't wrong
man haven't checked out story mfg in years. the bode influence is crazy.
my fav brand
Bode was never doing it like this tho
plus a lot of that s*** looks like ugly Persian rugs. not to say all of Story’s s*** looks good either, i just think it’s a lil more creative and definitely more sustainable

all good to have favorites but gotta stop you right there buddy bode is probably the most significant menswear brand in the world right now if we're not counting famous luxury brands. not everything they make is wearable but there highs are absolutely insane.

Kinda wish Earl would rap on production like this.
All their s*** is so obscenely priced I can't justify it
that’s facts lmfao it’s the all natural materials and hand made garments
not many brands make em like that anymore tho so i gotta support
yeah thing was i think everyone was just displaced at first, cuz i also signed up right after Yeezus leak.
you were mostly in film sxn, i was mostly in Odd Future sxn, etc. then when i started posting in indie sxn i realized that’s where the coolest/most interesting people who were really willing to discuss stuff were at
we all came together in the end. shoutout to the fallen ones @atl
wonder where we'll be in 20-30 years. Elric will prolly be in a nursing home.

na not talking about significance, i’m saying they literally don’t do it like Story MFG which is what i enjoy most about them lol. the process. the pieces usually look great as well, but how they’re made is important too
i appreciate the craft and appliqué of a lot of Bode stuff too tho. some of it is just ass lmao

na Elric still gon be posting itt about his 40 yr old girlfriend and playing the new Zelda

i see story mfg somewhat justified pricing. Most clothing pieces I own are around 200 dollars but it's not a terrible investment if you know you'll wear it for the next 10-20 years because it's sustainable/high quality. Imo fast fashion is much worse investment if you're buying like 20-30 items a year that you'll throw out after a year or will fall apart on you. (I have a shirt from Zara that's broken on me like 5 timses. beautiful pattern but keep having to get it fixed.) I just focus on buying like 10-12 quality pieces per year and over 10 years you build up a really nice wardrobe.
Then there are the very rare and great brands like Uniqlo U (the christophe Lemaire collab) which are very affordable and terrific quality relative to the price

okay agree to disagree, I think Bode does it better than anyone though I'll admit their pieces from 2-3 years ago were more impressive/wearable. I could post some truly life-changing pieces from them but too lazy atm.
Emily puts out a bit to much clothing which is why some of it is really out there (and ugly af as you say) but she kinda has to since all of it is basically one-of-one pieces.
even their new collections have some really beautiful pieces but yeah not quite like it used to be. the tailoring is still masterful though

i’ma peep that. i’m ngl i don’t know a ton about Bode. Story MFG is the only brand i’ve bought from at that price range lol like $600 for one of my sweaters and $350 for pants (both were on sale)
but i’ve got 5 pieces from them now and they’re just obviously such high quality i can’t rly regret what i spent
i don’t wear fast fashion so i like to see stuff like Story which is the complete opposite lmao slow fashion.

Sometimes going way too far is all it takes for a good laugh
I always lose it whenever Raisie or Synopsis tees off on someone and calls them a f***ing moron
on plug or on ktt1? could you even have an avi on plug? I had a bunch of black and white avis and some other ones.

Second avi is iconic
gang s***, shoutout to BJ
honestly kinda hard to believe Alaska still posts in here sometimes, always cracks me up seeing em randomly say some s*** then disappear for years
For years? Alaska has always been active at least for the last 3 or 4 years

Yeah I never buy fast fashion and I like spending money on cool brands like that, just story mfg stuff is always a slight level above what I'm willing to pay. Like £300-£400 for a shirt and I never see it pop up in many sales here.
Uniqlo U is nice but the last couple years of it have bored me a bit
I like supporting independent UK brands if I can, there's some good ones out there. Lorenz is probably my favourite at the moment just cause they know how to have fun.
Grabbed these two stupid things in the summer and haven't stopped wearing them

na you know what i mean, i guess i should’ve said months/weeks with like a few posts in between

I got a nice Superdry jacket in Dublin
don't know the brand but it's seems to be pretty good quality
na Elric still gon be posting itt about his 40 yr old girlfriend and playing the new Zelda
The accuracy
my except she'll be the one trying to 100 percent the new Zelda while I play Fallout 8
You gonna get Mario Wonder? Seriously impressed by it
@Very_Based this Chiaki Sato album is great

My old roommate that works at Uniqlo stole a bag for me
She knew I wanted to replace my old one and just brought it home one day. I was like "how much do I owe you?" "Don't worry about it we take s*** all the time"
