fam's opinion on Eurythmics? I've been listening to a few songs (including Sweet Dreams, which is still Top 5 Synth Pop songs oat, and Here Comes The Rain of course) quite a bit the past couple days.

Never thought of them as a great albums band, but they have plenty of killer tracks.

Was watching this really detailed online documentary on Woody Allen and his accusations and it’s really compelling stuff. I don’t know exactly what I believe, but it’s certainly a worthy breakdown of the history of it all even if it’s ultimately taking Allen’s side.

Maybe Woody is technically innocent but he's still planted a lot of seeds in his work to make himself look like a creep and also ended up in a relationship with his daughter in law so it's easier to just face the fact that he's a creepy little homunculus when I'm watching his films and take them for what they are like Polanski's.

This is the problem. People love to conflate a bunch of totally unconnected events and things into a single narrative. Conclusions of guilt are based around “vibes” now. Polanski is guilty — there’s no question of that. It’s not fair to compare these things.

Whatever, it’s a fascinating watch wherever you land on the issue.
