TV needs to say “half hour” and “full hour” instead of Comedy or drama tbh. Barry is more drama than comedy
Or episodic vs overarching arcs
@RVI ur queen going off

Yeah this is more how I distinguish things now. Am I in the mood for a shorty or a longy?
Roger Ebert’s review of Black Dynamite is so funny. He’s just like “boy do I miss seeing b**** in movies”.
fam's opinion on Eurythmics? I've been listening to a few songs (including Sweet Dreams, which is still Top 5 Synth Pop songs oat, and Here Comes The Rain of course) quite a bit the past couple days.

Never thought of them as a great albums band, but they have plenty of killer tracks.
Was watching this really detailed online documentary on Woody Allen and his accusations and it’s really compelling stuff. I don’t know exactly what I believe, but it’s certainly a worthy breakdown of the history of it all even if it’s ultimately taking Allen’s side.

This entire story is so confusing.

The two you mentioned, Thorn In My Side, Who’s That Girl, When Tomorrow Comes. I’ve never done a real deep dive though.

One of those great '80s bands my parents listened to a ton that I haven't really dove into myself. Realized recently they are how Aretha got planted in my DNA very early with Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves

Its kind of like that dude on that defends MJ till the end of time... He makes a pretty convincing case when you look at the facts objectively but still at the end of the day Michael literally can't stop himself from saying that anybody is welcome into his bed in interviews
Maybe Woody is technically innocent but he's still planted a lot of seeds in his work to make himself look like a creep and also ended up in a relationship with his daughter in law so
it's easier to just face the fact that he's a creepy little homunculus when I'm watching his films and take them for what they are like Polanski's.

man MJ didn’t do s*** tho

But he still couldn't stop himself from saying everybody is welcome into his bed. Like Lisa Marie literally had to cut him off in the interview because she could instantly tell he was going to dig himself deeper into a hole. I can't pretend that he didn't say these things.

Nah he's definitely guilty... of making lame music!!!!!!

I remember vaguely hearing about some British pop star interrupting MJ at an awards show or something back in the day and then realized halfway through my Pulp dive it was Jarvis
he wasn't having MJ portraying himself as a religious diety

This is the problem. People love to conflate a bunch of totally unconnected events and things into a single narrative. Conclusions of guilt are based around “vibes” now. Polanski is guilty — there’s no question of that. It’s not fair to compare these things.
