none of em got the effects of the first one though. when the killing in the 2nd one started i was so disappointed coming off how gory and real the kills felt in the OG

The lead up to Marcie’s death in the first one really freaks me out for some reason

The movies lost that grungy, unsettling feel when they switched filming from Jersey to California. I still dig most of them, though

Yo speaking of grungy I always loved Maniac especially the ending when they literally like this motherfucker gotta suffer haha

Not to mention how bizarre and spooky a room full of mannequins is

That whole film has a freaky atmosphere. The score really helps. I remember hearing this song in the convenience store in the beginning of the movie and thinking it was some Fleetwood Mac track or something, but I noticed it had this really eerie but melancholy quality to it. The vocal effect almost makes it seem like someone already dead is singing it.

Also the ending music on the boat is gorgeous but haunting, I think it’s actually a reworking of the previously mentioned song.

yo does anybody else itt like The Hotelier?? i’ve loved them since 2016 when they released Goodness, but they have a nearly perfect 3 album discography. the debut is a lil scattered and pop-punkish, but Home, Like No Place is There is one of the greatest emo albums of all time and Goodness is possibly the greatest anti-emo album of all time.

definitely one of my fav bands ever at this point. The lyrics on Goodness resonate with me like no other album

like listen to this and tell me y’all don’t feel something

but then listen to THIS and tell me y’all don’t feel something completely different

That’s been a wild criticism for years. It’s like who cares, it’s a silly Bond movie. Isn’t her name Dr Goodhead. The title track for that one slaps.

I don't know why teams keep hiring him. That 08 chip is a thing of the past and he has a pretty poor track record outside of that 1 year
