It's ultimately super personal and based off memories and experiences and s*** but for the sake of the thread I will make fun of RVI for crying to Taylor Swift
its not even super personal at all or memory based and its funny that you think its even a bad thing to say
at least im not crying to some weird voice mysterious harp lady

greatest songwriter this century and she only needs 4 albums to prove it. (Ys and HOoM are enough to thwart entire discographies IMO). Taylor Swift is a calculating pop star with okay writing and a bloodthristy fanbase.

I'm just messing with you
She's also not that mysterious, she married f***ing Andy Samberg
the music is mysterious

Now if he made fun of me for crying to mysterious violin lady Lisa Germano, he'd have a point, but Lisa's music is more harrowing and suspenseful then purely cry-inducing, even if it is very emotional (perhaps on a different emotional wavelength than Joanna)
in other news of my devolution i would like to announce to the thread that this is a good song

the music is mysterious
only cause it's beyond the realm of replication, therefore being one of a kind and only coming off as mysterious because of how unique it is.

I don't think so. I make fun of Galaxy for crying to her goofy ass too

yeah, perhaps I did cry tears but more out of pure emotional horror. I'm assuming you listened to Geek the Girl? That's easily the most gut-wrenching of her 90s stuff especially with Psychpath in the middle. Her other 90s stuff is also amazing and underrated and a bit lighter. She's an underrated arranger, lot of her songs are super dense and layered, even if subtlely.

after realizing that song was good i listened the rest of the album out of curiosity but it was absolutely f***ing horrendous
probably the best pop album of the 10s Imo. Or maybe Pop 2 by Charli.
nvm, looked at my list currently and my current opinion is Sylvan Esso self-titled album being the best pop album of the 2010s.
man she just sounds so sad
